- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids DLC takes 15h+ to obtain all trophies
-
According to Poweryx's guide, there's still a lot of collectibles just like the base game. Difficulty is a 2/10.
ID: gy2rlbkID: gy2ub8cHard and Long is the best combo, or so my girlfriend tells me.
ID: gy3kjdkcan’t disagree more. i love it.

This game is controversial to me, because I did not like Odyssey or Origins and thought both were slogs.
But I couldn't put Valhalla down. I loved it. But I can still admit it has alot of flaws and it does drag on, but I still couldn't stop playing. I loved the setting, conversations, and building up the settlement and watching it grow, alongside doing the story arcs and gathering allies.
Super fun game. I'll get to this DLC eventually.
ID: gy5pf09Mmm Odyssey i known as the best Recent AC game. valhalla was such a chore..
ID: gy5polsSounds about subjective

How is Valhalla these days? I got the gold edition at launch so would be able get this DLC at no extra cost, but honestly got bored with the game pretty quickly.
ID: gy2qyhiI just started it a week ago, loving it so far. But, I haven't got far yet
ID: gy2x7l7But, I haven't got far yet
You'll hit a point when you realise the story is going to go nowhere for very long stretches as you're forced to do pointless mandatory arcs that have no relevance to the story.
You can tell almost immediately what arcs aren't related to the story, and because of this I cut the game length down by skipping through the pointless ones as quick as I could.
There is an incredibly strong 20 hour campaign needlessly drawn out to nearly 50 hours, all because of Ubisoft's insistence on a grind just so you can be underlevelled and want to buy quick fix microtransactions.
ID: gy2thw7Way too long
ID: gy452wvYea I got ubi+ on PC and played valhalla for like 60 hours only realize I was maybe just half way through the story. The game has far too much bloat. It was fun for a while but Jesus once I realized how much more was ahead of be still I bailed.
ID: gy4b8e1I am now helping the half Dane or something become king but nobody takes him seriously. It's the third region that you need to finish. How far into the game am I?
ID: gy3x6k1Every ubi open world.
ID: gy3bj1fI enjoyed it but I played it on and off in short periods over a couple months which made it less repetitive. They could've definitely cut some arcs, but it was still decent imo.
ID: gy2uszzBloated and aimless. The main story is almost non-existent
ID: gy358dbIt feels like it’s missing an ending
ID: gy313h7Truly don’t know why people would want to buy even more of the same monotonous shit.
ID: gy2reqrfun and looong
ID: gy3kvwtAimless.
Played 30 hours. In one session I had been running around aimlessly for hours with like 10 quests to do, a bunch of markers in my compass, and then I entered a moment of clarity where I just asked myself "what the hell am I doing?". I read the quest description and was like "who the hell is this guy?". Then I played some more, got 2 skill points, increased my attack power by 1.2% then I altF4'd and uninstalled. Never came back.
ID: gy3arp0Seemingly endless and tiring.
ID: gy5l1q1The story is interesting at times, and the combat is good enough. But if you want platinum, it's literally more boring than doing your taxes.

Has anyone actually completed Valhalla? Like on record?
ID: gy3o340I can tell you it has what may be the single worst ending(???) to a video game I have experienced.
ID: gy3vmibI never got to the ending because I found the game extremely boring after 30hrs and I heard the opposite that the ending is extremely good and "worth it " to get through the boring parts of the story to get to the end "good bit"? H
ID: gy4iqmnI dont know how the ending is bad lol? It pushes the modern day story forward in an interesting way imo while giving a conclusion to the main story of the game that also leaves open room for more in dlc. I personally really enjoyed the ending and epilogue. I will agree the game is way too long though and not all arcs are even
ID: gy4ab6eWhat's so bad
ID: gy5rxqvThe true ending likely won't be until the end of the 2nd DLC expansion like it was with Odyssey.
ID: gy4babsBy trophy records on PS5, the game has like a 15% completion rate. Super low
ID: gy55ywrCause the game is super long. Witcher 3 has like a 23% completion rate I believe. Last I checked.
ID: gy5p7ioYup, I beat it in 50hours.
And that's main story + optional arcs + killing every order member + side quests that start in the camp.
IMO people that complain they played hundreds of hours and still haven't finished it don't really know what they're doing or how to play it. Or they are just going with with a 100% playthrough I guess.
ID: gy5rt9hTook me around 60 hours to beat all the arcs and kill all members of the order
-
Which is about 10 hours less than the amount i need to replay the original game so I can unlock the 2 story related trophies that did not transfer from PS4 to PS5, wee. Safe to say i won't play any AC for a while, which isn't too bad with the games out and releasing

I put about 180hr in Origins and 220hrs in Odyssey inc all DLC's and enjoyed 90% of all of it but Valhalla after 30hrs I can't bring myself to finish it's just soo bland and boring, barely any loot in an RPG is madness and then none of the stats actually making a difference in an 100hr game just kills the whole game as there's nothing really to work towards. The combat is so easy you can play blind folded and win. Most disappointing game of 2020 for me. Even the main story has so many filler arcs forced on you that have nothing to do with the story that you loose all interest 20hr story stretched to 50hrs like someone else said whoever thought it was a good idea needs to be fired tbh, ruined the whole game.

Origins > Odyssey > Valhalla
-
So it’s longer then resident evil village and less then half the price
ID: gy2r1ndDoesn't means it's on par in quality
ID: gy2sfskAnd 1/4 the fun and quality
ID: gy2yse0dat logic
ID: gy2tzf1Mmmm I love quantity over quality. /s
ID: gy36539And half as quality.
Funny how that works.
ID: gy3dw82Oh don't even compare those two. Jesus Christ. Village is on a whole other level.
ID: gy2stx5Resident evil games are designed to be replayed multiple times.
ID: gy3f86aResident evil doesn't try and sell you the same game every year. This is the first ac game I've tried since ac3 and I can definitely say it's not worth the money (to me at least).
-
I guess it contains some kind of conflict and I have to solve it by destroying a city, and cut supplies?
-
I can't imagine wanting more Valhalla. The base game is already weaponized boredom. I wish it was a third the length.
-
Valhalla was fun, def will pick this up on sale.
-
How many hours of that is "fun"

Easy but long is the worst combo
