If you are referring to console players playing with PC players in the Crucible, Bungie stated crossplay in the Crucible for console players is primarily between PS and Xbox. The only way console players can play with PC players in PvP is if a PC player invites the console player (or the console player joins the PC fireteam). Then the console player plays in the PC PvP server. So naturally, a console player is still free from PC players when crossplay is activated.
