- [RUMOR] June PS+ games are: Operation Tango (PS5), Star Wars Squadrons (PS4) and Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (PS4)
They got last month right, a few days before the official announcement, by the way.ID: gzaxjvx
They were also right about the new controller colours like a week before they announced….a pretty solid source!ID: gzbw0g2
I would've preferred Jedi Fallen Order but I will take it!ID: gzc5je1
think if its not the following months then I'll have to snag it once the PS5 update is outID: gzc7lrd
I’ve got fallen order, so I’m pretty happy with squadrons.
Fallen Order would be a great one though, its a fantastic game.
Squadrons fucking makes sense because I just bought it a week ago.ID: gzbdsw1
Can you buy Ghost Of Tsushima towards the end of June? Been wanting to play that game.ID: gzbsis6
Ghost of Tsushima is going on sale on 26th of May btwID: gzburbu
Just picked it up at my local library free of charge! Love my local library <3ID: gzbd4sc
Same. Haven’t even played it yet lol.ID: gzbg5lq
At least the multiplayer will be filled with noobs and you'll have some practice by then.ID: gzb3sk7
How is itID: gzb5et4
I paid like 12 bucks for it and its pretty fun. Haven't tried the multiplayer.ID: gzbns7y
A ton of fun for the dogfighting with a really high skill ceiling. Played in VR on PC and VR is definitely the way to go with it if you have that option.
Would be cool to get Star Wars squadrons. Been looking at that game for a while now was just worried I wouldn’t be able to get into it because it appears to be more simulator like with the way they use the shields and thrusters.ID: gzazrs2
I would like to play that in VR.ID: gzb8hob
It's fantastic, and playing in VR is almost a straight-up advantage.ID: gzbb0cc
It's awesome in VRID: gzastac
It's well balanced between sim and arcade. Probably a bit more on the sim side but everything is there on your controller. You definitely have to manage your subsystems constantly but it's not something you can't pick up soon after you finish the campaign.
I absolutely love Squadrons and I've been looking for an excuse to get back into it.ID: gzb5je4
How long is the campaign? if you don’t mind me, asking good fellaID: gzc2aqx
It's pretty arcadey and anyone can jump it just it takes awhile to master. You can do pretty well not knowing anything about charging power, shunting power and balancing shields, it's just there if you want the edge.ID: gzbshmw
Just don’t expect a lot from multiplayer. I’m sure it being free will populate it more but as of now there’s almost no players.
Probably true btw. That site is suprisingly accurate.
Note Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown has not yet been released yet. The last released game was (ironically) Final Showdown. Therefore we are probably looking at a remaster of sorts, with better character models, maybe a new character or two?ID: gzcm3ie
Rollback netcode is the only thing that really matters.ID: gzc2ksa
Give me an online mode that isn't garbage and I am down.
Star Wars Squadrons would be amazing for PS+. The only reason I didn’t buy it was because I was worried about empty lobbies. But if it comes to PS+, it will have very full lobbies for at least the next month.ID: gzc7ru7
I don’t think you’d have to worry about empty lobbies since it’s cross platformID: gzcd0zf
And on Game Pass and EA Access
Me with Yakuza 7 and Judgment :
"Nice, virtua fighter for the 3rd time without buying it on purpose."
I'm still surprise godfall hasn't showed up i was sure it would be there after launch.ID: gzd5rf3
They're still trying to make money off if it with it being a PS5 new gen exclusive and featuring microtransactions.
Nice. Not played VF in years. Used to love that gameID: gzb4vbk
Not played VF since it looked like this.ID: gzbkt5c
I've only ever played that on a Sega Saturn. Feels like it was last centuryID: gzb7iw7
It’s weird when I see games like this my brain still tags it as cutting edge 3D game.
The graphical jump from the 16bit era to 32 was so huge for me as a kid. It’s still imprinted as such a huge deal to me.ID: gzb7u5p
I played it a bit in my recent playthrough of Yakuza Like A Dragon. They had in game arcades you could go to and play old school sega games.ID: gzc1yp6
And while they do a normally great job of making sure they're contemporary games in both age and popularity, they made one fun mistake: Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown is playable in the prologue of Like a Dragon, despite the prologue taking place 11 years before it would come out. 🙂
Well that is mostly likely 100% accurate because I just bought Squadrons about 3 weeks ago and that's how that works. Same thing happened with Control. I just bought Scott Pilgrim vs the World The Game so expect that to be in the July PS+ titles.
I'll report back with the other games I buy so you know what to expect for August.
I read Star Wars and thought it was Fallen Order for a second, that would have been awesome with the upcoming PS5 update
Star Wars Squadrons has a PSVR mode right?
I think my June will be taken up by Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Ratchet and Clank anyway!ID: gzb0e0t
Yes it supports PSVR and unlocked dynamic resolution means it gets an extra resolution boost on PS5 over PS4Pro.ID: gzblbbs
Looks phenomenal on the PSVR/PS5
Yes Star Wars Squadrons! Bring it on!
Not a great ps5 game offering but squadrons looks fun
I'm happy for people who are excited for these games, but they don't interest me at all. Hopefully July's games are more appealing to me.
I wish one of them would be Knockout City. It's fun, but idk if it's fun enough to buy lol
I've been sitting on Squadrons knowing it'll either be free or drop to almost nothing
