The Talos Principle a simply fantastic game
ID: h0mkneiID: h0ma524Personal GOAT for me - highly recommended, especially if you enjoy puzzlers. Has a great story, too.

Damn. Hidden gem recommendations?
ID: h0lzl3i"Not a Hero" 8 bit side scrolling shooter for only a couple dollars. Has a bit of humour that is the icing on this little gem
ID: h0mgt5lHellblade and Lichdom: Battlemage. Lichdom is literally like 2$ and it's a 1st person mage simulator. The game is insanely fun. Constant combat, you can customize your spells however you want, you have a lot of different elements, etc.
ID: h0mosji$2 is too much for Lichdom … it’s awful
ID: h0mad52Risk of Rain 2
ID: h0lwqcaThe Talos Principle

Spelunky 1, which I've never played, was £2.50 so I had to have it. Super meat boy is about £1.50 as well, some absolute bargains to bulk up my chill collection!

Any recommendations?
ID: h0lqrdlReturn of the Obra Dinn is one of the best games ive ever played

I'm tempted to buy Disco Elysium but I don't know of the issues have been fixed yet. Can anyone comment on it?
ID: h0m1j4kI see it get patched often whenever I boot up my PS5, so if I was to guess, I'd say they're doing a really good job of knocking a lot of bugs out.
ID: h0m29veIt should be fine. I beat it in late April without any of the problems that plagued the game in the first couple of weeks of release.
-
Anyone played Tesla vs. Lovecraft? I didn’t know a PS5 version was released.
-
Definitely get Soma if you enjoy an amazing sci Fi story mixed into a horror title
-
For everyone who likes obscure and kinda hardcore games: Pathologic 2 is 50% off and totally worth a try if you're into dark, weird and interesting games.
ID: h0meil0I'm interested in this game but I'm afraid that it's a bit more clunky than what I'm used to. Thoughts?

Im kinda looking at:
Othercide
Frostpunk or Dawn of man
Citadel forged of fire
Darkest dungeon
My time at portia or Yonder
ID: h0m4pbpFrostpunk is free on Epic right now if you play on PC.
ID: h0mmof3Frostpunk and Darkest Dungeon are both AWESOME!

Picked up Visage - been waiting on sale, and there seems to be no plans for the dev to do a physical release. Contemplating Othercide, but I believe LRG has a physical planned. Also want Curse of the Dead Gods, but feel like I'd rather have that one on the Switch.
Tons of great titles in this sale, though - if you can't find something for you, then you simply don't like gaming.
ID: h0mcg95My problem with indie games is that there are so many of them and so little advertised that I just don’t know what to choose.
In this sale I’m going to pick Nex Machina (I played returnal and loved it, and it’s from the same devs), Bloodstained because I like castlevania-style games and Outer Wilds because it received a lot of positive press and it looks kinda interesting. Anything else you would recommend?
ID: h0mmtpwI was unable to browse the entire sale, but a few caught my eye that I already own.
The Talos Principle is my personal GOAT. If you're a fan of Portal and/or The Witness, it's similar to those. The Witness is also on sale, and I would recommend that as well.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - fantastic story centering on Norse mythology.
The Messenger - nice old-school 2D action-platform game.
Thumper - even without VR, this is an awesome rhythm title.
Tricky Towers - very fun spin on Terri's.
Rime - another one of my favorite games; an adventure/puzzle game that, by the end, had me in awe and re-analyzing everything I'd just experienced.
Pumpkin Jack - similar to Medieval/Spyro - a collect-a-thon adventure/platformer.
Daymare - if you enjoy Resident Evil.
Axiom Verge - another Metroidvania
Curse of the Dead Gods - a lot of acclaim around this one, and compared a lot to Hades, which was probably my GOTY 2020.
There's soooo many...it may not be the best prices all of these games have seen, but the sale is huge, and there's a lot of great deals. But I completely get that it is a bit daunting to sift through it all.

Why would you recommend it? I see it’s a first person puzzle game, I liked The Witness a lot so maybe I’d like this one as well
