YESSSS! Holy fucking shit, I didn't expect this at all! I remember picking up Salt and Sanctuary to tide me over until Dark Souls III released, and I seriously loved every second of it. I kept hoping for a sequel ever since, periodically checking Ska Studios' Twitter page, but by this time last year, I simply thought it wasn't happening.
So to see this announcement has me absolutely pumped! And with online co-op as well?! Fucking awesome. Cannot wait until it releases in 2022!

I was really stunned how much I liked the first one. I think dark souls style games might play better in 2d. Definite buy for me.

Yeeees! Played the first one all the way through with 2 friends and solo. Great to see this is going to have online too.

But jokes aside, i didn't expect Salt and Sanctuary to ever have a sequel, it's one of the very few game trailers that got me pretty excited for the game

I really wish they add a much better map system. The gameplay and difficulty in salt and Sanctuary was awesome but the lack of helpful map was really really difficult for me

Really liked the game, remember getting it with a friend that played in german (while I played in English) and he just kept sending me screens of the hilariously bad german localisation. Still a running gag in our group of friends to this day.

I really like Salt & Sanctuary, but I think this studio’s games are incredibly ugly. Is that a common opinion?

At least they have noses now though lmao.
I understand, smaller indie devs, but I'm not looking for the best. Like, we have Hollow Knight which is beautifully done, somewhere between that and what we have now? lol. I guess there's a lot of opportunity for improvement if there's a third.
