ID: h3n2kijYeah it’s incredible. I enjoyed the discovery crafting system a ton, and thought the overall gameplay was a lot of fun. Very excited for the upgrade!
ID: h3nzdabPlague Tale is a great game. It probably goes on an hour too long but that’s about the worst I can say about it. It’s mostly a puzzle game where you use your items and the environment to figure out how to get across the map.
The characters are great, the graphics are impressive (and that was on a base PS4) and the puzzles are really clever and almost never feel contrived.
I’ll say that it’s unbelievably bleak though. There’s a few moments in the game that I honestly blocked out cause it’s absolutely grisly dark. So, prepare for that.
Great game though. Can’t wait for the sequel.
ID: h3n7lhzI played it when I was beta testing the xbox cloud stream. The lag was unbearable but the game was really good even just for the intro. The story was interesting, controls felt good, and the gameplay kept me wanting to play more.
But I wanted my trophies and big screen. So I was waiting for the ps4 price to go down.....and now I'm glad I waited. Ps5 version!

ID: h3n3xxbI've played through it. It's quite linear, but the story is great and there is enough variety in the levels to keep things exciting. I'm really excited for the sequel.
And about Greedfall, I have no idea why they wouldn't offer the free upgrade to the PS+ "version". It's not like they're going to get any extra money from the people who bought the game and get the free update.

I played it on PC back when it launched. I liked it. For a team of that size, they did very well. I was especially surprised how well the rat crowd tech/mechanic worked and also how emotional the story got. In fact, the emotional part hit too close to home for me.
I'm also interested in the sequel. I wonder how will they grow it more.
P.S. The rat mob tech reminds me of Days Gone zombie horde tech. These two games are the only ones I know doing something like that and with such numbers. There could be as many as 5k rats at once in this game.

An AA studio can do that for their game but EA with their billions can't do it for Jedi Fallen Order. Disgraceful, if you do a thing, do it well.

I had this downloaded on Series X. I deleted it and will wait for the PS5 version.
The PS5 controller is so much better.

ID: h3mykp9To be fair, this isn't a similar situation to GT, Horizon or God of War. People complaining about those are complaining that a game designed for PS4 won't have materially different gameplay which takes advantage of the PS5. They're saying the PS4 will hold the game back. Whether they're right or wrong, I can't say. I haven't seen much difference to gameplay in how the GT or GoW series has progressed through generations before.
A Plague Tale is already available on PS4. The people complaining are saying it's unfair for them to not get the PS4 version when the PS5 version is being given away. Which may well be a fair point.

I'd recommend anyone who is about to play this game to play it in French (with English subs), not only is the voice acting stellar but it actually feels much more authentic than having them walk around France speaking English with a French accent.
ID: h3n1dc1I disagree with this. Even thought the game is based in France, the main VO is the English one and it is excellent! Charlotte McBurney, the main actress did a phenomenal job and it was her first professional voice acting work!
As someone who his main language is French, even thought the French VA is good, I thought the English one was better and more emotional.
ID: h3nilrePeople kept telling me to play the original Metro with Russian VO and I felt the same way, having it in my native language instantly made me care about the plot more because I didn't have to read subtitles to understand what's happening while playing the game and trying not to die.

I am Interested in seeing how widespread it is. So far we've not really had much that has come close to Astro's showcase.

It's only a matter of time before "Battlefield 2042 will have Duelsense features." I wouldn't be surprise if said article already exists.

Not all games do. Some may only support haptics as well. It's useful to know especially at this point where people are still experiencing the dual sense and want to try it out in many different games.

An awesome game. Played through a few months ago and was surprised by all of the mannerisms. The little things people do that games don't normally include. Including small details like putting a lock of hair behind the ear and a little kid speaking and thinking like a kid. Well played on their part and I will play again. No constant and repeated charter, but banter that fit the moment.
I look forward to the upgrades

This is the only game worth it from PS Plus this month IMO. Definitely playing this.
