Disappointed returnal is so low.
ID: h4mcrrrI love the game, but I was very hesitant to buy when I did. I got it on sale ($50.00), and I’m so glad I did. I think the problem is the way people talk about the game’s difficulty. I’m horrible at Souls games, but that’s all you hear it compared to. I don’t believe it’s actually as impossible as people make it out to be. You just have to get over that initial learning curve.
I think the way reviewers have spoken about it makes more people hesitant to buy. I would have had no reservations whatsoever about buying had I not heard it compared to Souls games.

What is the metro series even? I always see it pop up on these or computer benchmark videos but I have never seen a big streamer play the series.
ID: h4mfk9nIt's based on a series of Russian post-apocalyptic novels where nuclear war happened and the only pockets of humanity that survived happened to be in the Moscow Metro subway at the time. It's unclear if these people are the last on earth or just think they are. There lots of mutants that were created by the nuclear fallout and some supernatural elements. Most live and die in the Metro as the surface is too irradiated and crawling with monsters to venture out (although Exodus does do this in this game) The games are first person shooters with a sprinkling of survival (ammo is in short supply and scavenged ammo is worse than 'proper' new ammo) - at least the first two were, I've not played Exodus.

edit: I can't read apparently and NA is the real hero of the story. Now I want to know why Europe was just going to sit there and take my praise when they knew it was unearned?

The hate is way overblown, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with that game, and I played through it before the patches.

I agree. I played in on the PS4pro and had a good time. Sure there were bugs and crashes. I've been toying with playing it again on the PS5, but I feel like I can't get a straight answer as to how it runs. Some say it crashes every time you drive, others say they haven't had many at all. Have you played it on the PS5?

Perfectly playable on PS5. I played through on PC at launch and enjoyed it. Night City is beautiful, it's so refreshing to have a futuristic open world city rather than [generic fantasy/historical countryside] like we've been getting lately

I'm just happy that they're finally letting me access it. I was finally able to find a PS5 to play it, and then they took it off the store for months.

I'm surprised how popular miles morales is. Wasn't it extremely short like 15 hours short?

A short game doesn't discount the quality.

It does when it's expensive like MM is. The main benefit of MM is there are editions that include base spider man with a remaster.

Yeah it's about that long maybe a bit longer to platinum but the game is very good.

it did go on sale so that might have helped. I finally picked it up because ultimate edition was $50, which included remastered spiderman 🙂

I platinumed it in 9 hours which makes you do 2 playthroughs and basically 100% the game. Most cutscenes are not skipable in your 2nd playthrough also. Story is 2.5 to 3 hours.

The playtime was the reason i bought the game. I usually lose intrest half way through open world games. Miles morales was perfect for me.

Wizards of the Coast have a reputation. I doubt they will allow this console game to just flop hard, so i expect them to actually fix all the stability issues....
So, WHEN they fix the game, i think it'll be top tier.
It is currently LOADS of fun, even though the lobby has like a 90%+ chance of disconnecting players after each online mission. Don't buy it yet, but keep an eye out for what the patches do.

Wild to see MK11 still in the top downloads section, though i'm more surprised seeing Guilty Gear so high. In a good way of course, but i definitely wouldn't have called it.

Glad Ratchet & Clank got number #1. Even though I thought it was disappointing and far from a great R&C game, I think it has done well enough to allow the franchise to survive again. Hopefully the next game won’t sideline Ratchet & Clank and bring back the traditional mechanics, elements, other gameplay systems from the old games and more traditional planets.
