- Ghostwire Tokyo has been delayed to next year
-
Saw this one coming. Hope to see a state of play for this later in the year
ID: h51juddID: h51l2ewLol that’s probably my most anticipated game this year outside of horizon(if that even comes out this year), so I wouldn’t even be mad. Would like to see some extended Julianna gameplay
ID: h51j0aeNo, you'll get deathloop and like it!
ID: h51sok9The year is 2038, you duck into an alleyway to hopefully escape the drones and think your next move. When all of a sudden "We're here to give you an exclusive look at some more DeathLoop gameplay!" screams from down the alleyway...
ID: h51uurqWhat are we, in some kind of Deathloop?
-
It's a crying shame but then again,I'm hardly surprised.
-
Considering we haven't seen anything from the game since the original reveal, this comes as no surprise. 2022 looking more and more packed for PS5
-
Early 2022 Btw
ID: h51ov2mAKA, room for another delay.
ID: h51trisLol true
ID: h51gzeuHey that ain’t too bad, hoping it’ll be good, seems promising
ID: h51plu4Early usually means may-august
-
take your time cant wait to see more
-
I’m not upset about this but I really wish these companies would just stop giving release dates so early. I feel like 75% of games get delayed so just wait until your sure of a release date before you announce one.
ID: h51t2k7If COVID hadn't just happened I would agree.
ID: h522pcaThis has been a thing wayyy before Covid. It's something that has bothered me for a long time. Maybe I'm just e nerd, but I usually keep up with games pretty closely and delays on major AAA games have been pretty consistent for years now. I even went back and looked at some past years and just about every year this happens. You can search any year especially from last gen, but here's a quick example:
ID: h52dd35COVID should be even more reason to not give out any dates or windows whatsoever.
“Hey, we’re all dealing with a once-in-every 100 year global pandemic, cut us some slack, we’ll release when it’s ready.”
-
Quite disapointed but acceptable. There are so many games will be release between August-December.
But please just dont delay Horizon FW until next year, please...
ID: h51mhn1Yeah, WRC and Tales of Arise should hold me out until Black Friday sales. Might get Nier, Scarlett Nexus, Tony Hawk and ME Trilogy at a deep discount.
Even if Horizon gets delayed, Elden Ring will be out shortly.
What other Playstation exclusive will be released by 4th quarter, though?
ID: h51oiixWith God of War being delayed til 2022 I wouldn’t be surprised if Horizon was delayed as well.
ID: h51wpdeWell, God of War being delayed was predictable since no one believed it would be released in 2021 in the first place with logo for a teaser and being this close calendar-wise to another system seller. But Horizon sequel being delayed would be admittedly a bit disappointing considering how Sony alluded to it being released sometime soon after PS5 launch with all the marketing so far.
ID: h51l173I don't want it to get delayed, but I just hope Sony doesn't rush them on it. I'm sure they are feeling the pressure, because it would be the only big Q4 PS exclusive (afaik)
ID: h51x0bfNo big publisher is going to rush a game this year. No one wants to be the next Cyberpunk/CDPR.
ID: h52cry5I’ve got money that HFW will be delayed. They don’t have a confident window and the only thing they’ve mentioned is “they’re on track to release in 2021.”
ID: h51rymmI feel horizon will definitely be 2022, due to lack of a concrete release window. Even Ragnarok might be moved to 2023 as well, I think.
ID: h527bp9That definitely seems extreme for God of War. They wouldn’t have put a 2021 date on it if it was that far off.

Kotaku: "PS5 loses another exclusive in 2021"
ID: h51fetiArticles love to put titles like these only fore views. I pay no mind to them
ID: h51ie82Kotaku is garbage, most of the mainstream gaming news sites are.
ID: h51pro3But... It's true?
ID: h51muxrThat’s not the headline it’s the tag line and it is true. I don’t really see the issue.
ID: h51vvirYeah hard to see why anyone would have an issue with it, it’s true. God of War and Gran Turismo were initially slated for 2021 too. We still don’t have a locked in date for HFW.
-
Yeah, it makes sense. We've literally seen NOTHING of the game since last year and with Deathloop being delayed till September they probably figured they may as well push this one back too!
-
Sounds like the perfect time for more Deathloop gameplay!
ID: h51o7r1That rumored State of Play for August 12th is actually another Deathloop SOP. Just in case you didn't see the whole game yet.
-
looking forward to this. they’re probably waiting to hear about other game releases before settling on a date (Horizon FW as an example)
-
Good. I'd rather have a polished product.
-
I didn’t even know it was supposed to release this year. 2022 is gonna be stacked
-
I'm fine with this. They should take all the time they need, especially in times of a pandemic.
-
Any news on stray I’m still waiting
ID: h51qpuvWe’ll hear more about it on July 29.
-
One if the biggest disappointments
-
I was really excited for this game when they first showed it off. I thought it would creepy and full of mystery, but the more recent gameplay trailers make it look more like an action game.
-
Good. Gameplay trailer looked a little underwhelming after what was a great reveal.
I was gonna buy it anyway, it’s Shinji Mikami after all.
-
I still expect a bunch to be delayed. Covid messed almost every timescale up.
ID: h51ip4sI’m sure everything is pushed back now. It’s better if we never get any dates until it’s really ready.
I just hope this doesn’t waste a year of our consoles lifespan
-
CD Projekt RED making notes
ID: h51qfa9That's optimistic, but I hope you're right
ID: h51sn4mCDPR is a second rate studio that the internet propped up as a world class one

What’s that?? You want another Deathloop gameplay trailer? You got it!
