If anyone wants impressions, if you liked OMD 1,2 or Unchained, you’ll like this. Unchained was my favorite except for it being f2p, and this plays very similar. Two characters to start and I think 4 more unlock at some point. Traps are all there with upgrades. It’s a blast honestly, and I definitely recommend it.

Is anyone else having HDR issues? I have to turn hdr off on my PS5 to play.
ID: h6b13wbI read some reviews on Steam mentioning HDR issues as well. The devs seem to be aware and working on it!

ID: h6aw8jkWatched the launch trailer after work on YouTube, and I had to do a double take when I saw it said “Out Now”. Loved 1 & 2. Picked it up right away, Downloading it now. Can’t wait to sink a few good hours into it this weekend.

I played this when it came out on Stadia (timed exclusive, I think). It's pretty fun. I never got very far, so I might have to pick this up. The kids loved it, but something about Stadia never sat right with them.

I played the previous games on PC. Those were excellent games! But had one major flaw. Playing the later levels in single player mode was undoable. You could only barely finish them in co-op. Is this still the case with the third installment?

Looks a little like save the world, especially if you use the traps person. I really enjoyed that game until epic forgot about it due to fortnite.

ID: h6cpe9eYes, it’s exactly this. Here however, you can run around with your character and use different abilities to help stop the waves. It has a pretty good amount of towers (traps) to use which are all upgradable. The games starts out very easy to the point you think you’re going to breeze through it. But oh man, it gets very challenging. It also has co-op, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Totally agree! Unchained was my intro to the series and I was legit addicted for a month to it. This is great in coop. My wife and I are playing through it now on our two Xbox’s.
The devs did one small but wonderful thing. The weekly events are all still their just archived without leaderboards. They ran them during stadia release I guess. There’s more weekly events coming. I just love you can play the unique events without FOMO. It basically adds 16 new unique scenarios to the game because they are there.
There’s two campgisns. A harder difficulty and you can try to max out the 5/5 rating on that which is tough. Then you have endless mode which is survive a long as possible on like 10 maps. The weekly challenges and the archive of those. And a new mode which I haven’t tried. Lot to play for $30 in coop.
