- My monitor simply lost the freesync
-
Check OSD if Freesync been turned off. Sometimes electronic devices can reset itself.
-
Some monitors only have freesync at specific resolutions and refresh rates. Did you change display settings in windows recently?
-
Some monitors have the option to turn off freesync in their OSD. Check to see if it’s enabled on it first.

Do you have any other display cables plugged in? I have the LG 27GL850 and had the same issue. Since working from home I’ve been using the monitor with my work laptop and had an HDMI cable plugged into the monitor in addition to the Display Port cable I use for my gaming PC. I removed the HDMI cable and FreeSync came back.
Also, ensure that AdaptiveSync is enabled in the monitor settings.

In the Adrenalins, on the System page, right below Snap Settings, you'll see the "Factory Reset" option. Anytime you experience a problem with the normal operation of a driver feature that should be functioning but isn't functioning properly, if at all, hitting the "Perform Reset" button will always fix the problem, I've found. Using this option is also handy if you are running a 3d Mark benchmark like Time Spy and the result keeps giving you an "invalid result" even though you are running the stock benchmark. (This has nothing to do with reinstalling the drivers, btw.)

that's amd drivers doing it's thing, just reinstall them
ID: h9y4q4qID: h9ybco8Ya but I've had several cases of it being a driver issue in the past. So neither of you are wrong. My personal check list would be check monitor settings, ddu and reinstall driver, then change cable. But 90% of the time it's been a driver issue for me.

My monitor before the atualization I made in 22/08/2021 (version 21.6.1) used to have freesync, but now it says that's has no support. Any ideia what should I do?
ID: h9x4rciTry unplugging the cable (DP or HDMI) and plugging it again. Maybe you accidentally hit the monitor and the cable got disconnected of some sort.
ID: h9xpb5vSame monitor here. Did you turn on the motion blur reduction in 'game adjust' settings?

Reinstall the drivers, this has happened to me quite a few times. I'm using the same GPU btw.

welcome to the numerous problems i've seen with lg and one of the reasons i don't pair lg with any amd graphics adapters...
if it isn't features disappearing (having made sure that freesync or rather now called g-sync compatible is on)... with screen blanking, loss of signal, failure to wake from sleep... etc and so forth with literally any amd gp
i've thrown at them, and then occasionally irritations on nvidia gpus, just far less, and it's basically ONLY LG's display predominantly, i've just had way too many customer complaints and later returns. LG along with AOC, asus, msi, gigabyte monitors have since been black listed due to their poor design in the last oh 5 years. WAY too many problems.

Not really.... you can turn of Freesync on the monitor and this will be the result.
The DP or HDMI could also be faulty and this will be the result.
Please stop parroting "AMD driver bad" bs...
