So we are all aware that before the events of Resident Evil 2 Leon and his girlfriend broke up because he left home for his shiny new job in Raccoon City. Some of you may also know he stopped by a Motel on the way there to get really boozed up. This caused him to pass out and arrive extremely late for his first day on the job as a police officer. Which means one thing and one thing only. Leon was BADLY hung over during the Raccoon City incident. Fucking legend not only survives Raccoon but survives it dehydrated and with a pounding headache.
Anyway, it’s just a theory my best buddy and I were talking about and it makes sense to us. What do you all think? Thank you for reading and please do have a great day 🙂

Don't forget that Leon had a dog in his concept art, it looks like a really good boi and I'll forever regard it as canon.

I actually didn’t know that Leon had a girlfriend, but holy crap does this make him even more of a GOAT. Dude was fighting a hangover, depression, loneliness, and the T and G viruses.
Where is it stated that he had a girlfriend? I don’t remember seeing it in the remake of RE2 and I haven’t played the original yet (I’ve got it, just haven’t hooked up the console for it yet).

That means Little Hope and RE2 were combined. Leon was a sad old man who has no family or friends. And at the end of the game we just see him walking in the desert.
