ID: hbsbqsmI have no idea about ancient civs but I always thought it wasnt they were guarding the exit or entrance but that the most important (and powerful) people were placed deeper in the tomb.
ID: hbsrxd5In Skyrim specifically, there’s a book that explains that the dragon claw doors that usually block the bosses are designed to keep the bosses in rather than keep you out. Hence the overly simplistic puzzle mechanic on the door.

It's faster to design and release a next gen console than this game. Didn't they show a teaser like 3 or 4 years ago and the hype was it'd be a release game on next gen? I know it was pre-pandemic...

Well to be fair, apples if stored in cold will remain fresh for a while. One can assume it's cold in ancient caves, I mean the whole Skyrim is sort of cold.

Modern apple preservation involves a gas called 1-Methylcyclopropene (aka SmartFresh). This inhibits the hormone that causes apples to ripen, and can keep them fresh for about a year (but they have to be constantly exposed to this gas).
So, Skyrim dungeon apples would DEFINITELY be rotten.

Dragur raid nearby villages to restock supplies (even if they don't need the supplies) and maintain facilities then go back to sleep. There's books in game mentioning this and quests about it.

Honestly, taking that long is just an asshole move on Bethesda's side. That's mismanagement.
Same for Rockstar and GTA6.
Taking 3 console generations to deliver a sequel that millions of people want, is unreasonable. Many of us will probably be dead before TES7/GTA7, and that's sadly no hyperbole.
