- [Re6] Simmons really went from Dinosaur to a Fly, this game is wild
-
I could fathom the idea of collecting more biomass in order to mutate into a much larger creature, but the constant back and forth from massive creature and then folding it back into a human was so silly.
ID: hl1a63wID: hl1mh08Yeah, I was fine with Excella's mutation in 5. Not this BS, though.
-
I loved the t rex form
-
And to think the events of RE6 happened because Simmons was simping Ada.
-
This level of stupidity and aweosomeness at the same time is why I love RE6.
-
He was also a Saber tooth tiger
-
People like to shit on RE6 but the crazy wack ass bosses are personally my favorite part of RE as a whole.
RE6 may not be survival horror but it sure is a cool ass game with some cool ass designs.
Id love to see a sequel to The Third Birthday (Parasite Eve) with an RE6 budget and style of combat.
ID: hl15kgkYes its not survival horror. Its a super kickass action game. And it perfected mercenaries mode. Parasite eve is cool. I the the should use re6 mechanics on a dino crisis game. Yeeee
ID: hl1yx4uThis is why the dislike is so high for RE6.
I like to put my opinion of the game into two categories.
Resident Evil Game: It's terrible
Action Co Op cover shooter: Very Good
The game is actually a really solid and executed game, but it is so confused on what it wants to be.
I own it and bought it again when it was released again for the PS4, but I do understand why fans didn't like it being a Resident Evil game, I'm one of them.
Parasite Eve is a game I wish we could see more of!

I really liked some of this guys designs. The train fight where he was a flesh "transformer" instead of mutating was really neat. Yet the T Rex for was pretty meh.
Re 6 has some really great parts, but a bunch *meh* stuff in there as well.
-
I was hoping for a "This isn't even my final form" somewhere during that fight.
-
I always assumed they had multiple monster designs and just decided “fuck it” and made him all of them.
-
He was a lion before that on the train
-
Simmons’s crazy forms were some the coolest parts of the game. Fighting a giant T.Rex and then it transforms into a skyscraper-sized bug? Sign me up!
-
Not a high point, but still a super fun game lol
-
It's the best kind of wild
-
Im not the biggest fan of this game but the bosses have by far the coolest designs in the series
-
Simmons was so over the top that he kind of should have been Wesker etc. so that it would feel like an actual "this is the most intense mutation/bad guy you have ever fought in the franchise". But Simmons is just one villain in a game that has 4 different routes so he's just a nobody who for some reasons gets all these different mutations. Wasted potential and just too much
-
Its one of the reasons RE6 isn't something I regard well. It just felt like these transformations kept getting more and more absurd with little sense. I know Simmons is meant to be an exemplary vision of control over a viral mutation, almost able to put Albert Wesker to shame. but it really just wasn't something I liked.

This was the moment I lost all hope for this game. It was just too much over the topness for me. So freaking dumb. And then when he gets impaled and his blood pours out to hamfistedly form the Umbrella logo, I was done. Dude had dozens of gallons of blood in a tiny human body.
