Why Capcom doesn't rerelease Remastered versions of the Original Trilogy? Just release them and take my money already! Just upscale them, add the costumes and features to the games from all versions and shove them up to my ass! I'll gladly take them! Come on Capcom don't you want our money! I'm sure there are a lot of people who is going to buy blindly these original trilogy!

Just port them they dont have to do anything special for me personally. In 16:9 would be a nice addition.
Would love to put my PSVita away and play them on modernish consoles.

They think no one will want them unfortunately. The truth is the original games should have been bundled with the remakes and not a soul would complain.

I’ve been asking for this for a long time and I always feel compelled to show my support whenever I see a thread about it.
My support for this idea is unwavering. The PS1 Resident Evil trilogy belongs on modern platforms, especially PS5.

I’m good with RE1 unless it’s a port of the Switchver but would definitely pay top dollar for RE2 and 3

I think the og trilogy got "Lucased" (replaced by newer version with the intention of the originals never seeing the light of day again.)

I would love a re2 and 3 remake done in the same fashion as re1 for the GameCube. Ahhhhhh I'd pay 100 dollars easy for each

I wouldn't want to play the original re1 as I absolutely loved the remake but I wouldn't mind playing 2 and 3 if they gave them the same alternate controls re1 remake has.

The seamless HD upscales are good enough for me, personally. Especially with RE1 coming soon. The only downside is no achievements.

I still replay them regularly, but has to be done via emulator. Still fantastic games to this day

ID: hljryv6I guess that's how I'll play Clocktower. Its near impossible to own a physical copy these days. I managed to get re games on PS3.

I’d love to see this. They should upscale the Backgrounds via AI-Upscaler, the way modders did with RE2 for Dolphin-Emulator and then do nothing else.

Companies don't remaster PS1 games. They are always PS2 or above.
ID: hlk1ewrThat's actually because most companies lost the source code from that era. Especially Japanese ones but Resident Evil can not be lost because Re1, 2 and 3 ported into another consoles long time later after their releases. Re1 ported for DS while RE2 and RE3 ported for Gamecube. And Capcom doesn't seem like they lose their source codes because they almost port their every game always like Street Fighter 2, Devil May Cry, Mega Man etc.
