- Capcom went all out with the gore eh? (Resident Evil 2 Remake)
-
They did an amazing job with that game
ID: hlwuqunID: hlyr0owRockstar should be taking notes
-
Accurate wounds! A ton of crazy stuff goin on in that town.
ID: hlwuu74I know, almost too accurate.. I hope Capcom didn't go that far lol
ID: hlwvvklTurns out Capcom based Umbrella on themselves. They have a secret underground facility where they just injure people in order for their graphics artists to study and perfect CG wound-rendering. XD
ID: hlyrozwNeeds a bit more bone but yes pretty accurate
-
Just a flesh wound, just rub some sea salt on it to speed up healing.
-
YIKES
-
I'd check it out but I'm still stuck standing petrified on the front porch of RE7: Biohazard in VR.
ID: hlyhuiuThat is one of the best VR versions of a game I have played. It is so immersive.
ID: hlyi2yvI am into horror and that game is damn scary in VR. Like, truly frightening at points. I recommend it every chance I get.
ID: hlyrvu2I hope they release a VR version once the new psvr releases
ID: hlytg12They did a great job with RE4 as well.

Sweet fucking GODS!!! I would love to see what they could do with Resident Evil Gaiden. (The Gameboy RE game.)
-
put some ice on it
ID: hlytk18Or some aloe vera. Knew a guy that got shot in the head, just rubbed some aloe vera on his legs and he was fine.
-
Im just crying that we have no new Silent Hill of this caliber
-
Nice
-
Damn! Will this be available on the Switch?
-
I can’t wait to get this game. Looks scary.
-
A fellow coffee drinker I see
ID: hlwwwfyI do indeed love coffee!
-
Bro there's a first person mod and it's absolutely terrifying
-
Shame they toned it back down for 3 and 8

Question for fans of this series— where should I start? I really wanna play it cause I love horror games, but I’ve seen such mixed opinions on which game to start with.
ID: hlxzkqcI've played most of the games in the series but I would suggest starting with Resident Evil 2 Remake. It's the best entry point in terms of controls and story.
The first game has an excellent remake too but the tank controls and antiquated puzzles may be off putting for newcomers.
Give me a reply or message if you have any further questions
ID: hlxzx0rThanks dude! The Resident Evil 2 Remaster is the one I’ve seen come up most often, I’ll start there.
ID: hlyq6vrbut the tank controls
The HD remasters for 0 and 1 made tank controls optional, just so you know. Now you have free movement.
ID: hly1mwbRE2 remake or RE7 (Biohazard). They're both standalone and show off the modern version of the games (3rd person and 1st person respectively). And if you like both or either, they have direct sequels that are also great (RE3 remake and RE Village).
ID: hly5nhhOh I’ll definitely have to play RE7 next then. Village caught my interest which is why I’ve been wanting to play the older ones first.
ID: hly5qmnI feel like I'm going against the grain compared to the other comments but I feel like Re2 remake is probably a bit too hard for someone who hasn't played the series before, I won't spoil it but there's a point in the game where it goes from a normal horror to a "figure out where the fuck to go before you get got, also everything goes faster". Re-2 remake isn't about killing the zombies, it's just survival and puzzle.
Personally I'd say Re-3 remake, it wasn't well received initially because it wasn't a carbon copy of the original, its more like a game that roughly follows the timeline but is its own thing.
Zombies are easier to kill, the puzzles aren't quite as hard but the game can still kick your ass if you aren't careful, it also has a replay-ability factor where you can complete ingame achievements to buy items from the ingame shop to make your runs easier.
ID: hlyer2zX gonna give it to ya, X gonna deliver it to ya..
It’s true. I did enjoy the early pacing more.
-
Epic scene. Reminds me of the 1st zombie in RE1 and the 1st licker in RE2m, but they are more terrifying IMO.
-
Dudes orthodontist did a stand up fucking job tho
-
This one time at band camp…
-
Lol I know exactly where you are, shits about to get real.
Remember the locker combo upstairs is DCM I think
ID: hlyna7dDon’t forget CAP and NED/MRG
-
Dang that looks like it hurt
-
And this is last Gen.
-
Both original and remake are equally excellent.
But the remake is the one that gives me more goosebumps.
-
Ive seen bestgore and I can confirm this is gore
-
Definitely in my top 5 favorite games. So good.
-
Is this just the RE2 title and is it available for PS5? Didn’t play the original, want to play the remake!
-
Yea, tried to play it despite not liking zombies or gore. Didn't last long
-
Looks pretty crazy. The excess gore is one of the reasons a modern left 4 dead may be ‘too much.’ L4D2 has just enough to be satisfying but not so much that it becomes the horrific slaughter fest it would actually be if made more realistic.
