- Such a beautiful winter there

I realize AC3 was considered one of the inferior 'classic' ACs, but I really loved the settings... not enough games set in the 18th century.
-
AC3 is one of my faves. Even thought the combat was nerfed it was fun as hell - taking down a group of 10 redcoats without taking a hit was a blast

back when ac games were actually good and not the garbage ubisoft is putting out nowadays.
ID: hn7savnHah when AC3 came out most people thought it was garbage.
ID: hn76o7lI really didn’t mind odyssey and the one which was set in Egypt. But Valhalla has so fucking bad load times and the story is so fucking non linear.
I am wish there were more linear games. I hate these modern games where you have to do 200 things to move ahead . I really really miss the games where you have a defined path. I have no time to learn 1000 things to play a game.
ID: hn7mtvwI liked all three of the newer games, but none of them really felt like AC to me.
ID: hn8m2gzMan there are plenty of linear games but assassin's creed games have always been open world. Might not be the series for you
ID: hn77606I think odyssey and origins are great too but I hate valhalla it’s so boring
ID: hn7qahlNobody thought Assassins Creed 3 was good. The only bad modern AC game is Odyssey. Valhalla and Origins are decent.
ID: hn88u04Nah bro, they're all bad. AC3 was fucking great.
ID: hn8fnjzAC3 was seen as garbage when it released. Even now most people would probably rank it as the second worst main AC game, just above Unity.
ID: hn8uds0You'd be surprised. Some consider Unity #1 of all entries:
Personally AC3 is top game for me.

Ac Valhalla right I just got the fallen hero set in the game
ID: hn6s41hWait this isnt ac3?
ID: hn6s6xbIt might be I can’t tell I thought it was Valhalla because the bow on the back and the tower in the background
ID: hn7mokqNo not is. I’m pretty sure that’s Boston.

The winter in AC rogue was really nice too

Best Assassin's Creed. The last in the series that stuck with the canon.
-
The last AC games I actually finished, and I feel they should have ended it there. I used to love this series but over the years I just feel like the franchise got overly bloated. I have tried most of them but they suffer from what i call ubisoftification, as they are all so streamlined and by formula that they feel soulless. They never do anything truly innovative and exciting. I also really hate the future story crap, would be better if they left the Assassins Creed story stuff and just made cool open world games set in different timelines. Would also give them more freedom to do more interesting stuff other than the constant boring templar vs assassins stuff.

The worst AC because it was in Amerika.

Me and my brother and friends used to just run around and see how any we could take out. And then when a bunch of them started pursuing us we would see how many we could take at once without taking a hit.
