I honestly feel like vehicles are useless 90% of the time due to how floaty they feel and how they just flip after hitting a particularly stiff blade of grass. Feels wrong for a halo game to have such shitty vehicles.

My entire experience has been:
Spawn ground vehicle,
Vehicle gets stuck or rolls over after 20 feet due to stupidly touchy handling and rough terrain,
Resort to grapple hooking my way across the map for the thousandth time.
Edit: I forgot a step. Echo 216 drops spawned vehicle on top of marines and kills them.

Protip: it should always be a razorback loaded with marines you gave the arcane sentinel beam to.
ID: hoxy4p2I haven't gotten to arcane sentinel beams yet but my main strategy so far has been to load up a razorback with rocket launchers and sniper rifles and just do laps around the area until everything is dead.

ID: hoylmvoDo marines get infinite ammo in this game? That sentinal beam does crazy damage but you blow through ammo so fast it's almost not worth using IMO.

People actually sleeping on the grappling hook and also the ability to just spawn whatever vehicle you want to use at FOBs.
Pro tip: Wasp will be the only thing you ever use
ID: hoxvkr8Not on legendary it sure isn’t… the wasp is a POS. Takes forever to kill the banshees and they always spawn right when you get one. Banshees or some brute with a shock rifle.

RAZORBACK on the other hand...ID: hoy4m3nAlso playing legendary, I pretty much only spawn wasps and use them for travel/exploration. They're still useful in fights against enemies with slow moving projectiles but you have to clear out everyone else first. Great against hunters since they take so much ammo to bring down anyway.

ID: hoy9i1cYeah I just got to a part in the story where I was able to hijack a banshee. But before that I was just using my fully upgraded grapple to go everywhere. Im basically spiderman.

ID: hoys8aaOnce you get the 40% cool down reduction, every polygon on the map becomes accessible because you can straight up climb anything with ease. It's insane how much fun it is to move around with the grapple.
ID: hoydu9tHonestly I did nothing but grapple slide across the whole map of my legendary race. It's much faster than any vehicle because you don't have to worry about terrain, you just grapple + slide.
ID: hoxttrj(Potential campaign mission spoiler) That's how I did the "warthog run" they gave us in the mission The Road. On legendary, taking a vehicle didn't really seem viable to me because we'd always blow up

Vehicule ? I just roam around the map using the grappling hook like I'm spider-man or something... It's way more fun and sometimes faster because you can climb vertically.

I see all these post and comments about the vehicles. I don’t get it. The warthog works fine it seems. I don’t find it flips very often at all.
ID: hoyr6kqIf you stick to the roads it's not an issue, if you go cross country the fact that the warthog weighs the same as particularly small kitten means you're flipping over any significant bumps.
