Is it me or capcom didn’t do a spin off like CV and Revelations 1 - 2 in ages!! I mean I’d like a well packed action spin off game running on the RE Engine
ID: hoyk7eqRevelations 2 was my jam, especially the multiplayer mini game thing, can’t remember what it was called where you fought wave after wave. It was a blast and the storyline was really enjoyable at the time.

Yes. They devised an excellent combat system with 6 that they just abandoned. Should have a follow up in a side game, somewhere.

By the way, this is a screenshot from Vendetta, not RE6. I kinda liked that movie and that scene were they cleared a group of zombies together. I meant more of them working as partners, not separate campaigns.

Yes. But only if it's a spin off. Keep the mainline games as is. Re5 was so fun as a coop game. Would love another like that. I think the mainline series is in a good place so action spinoff probably wouldn't be met with much negativity

Eh...I'd like the pairing but I like it when Resident Evil is a Horror game more than an Action game, not the other way around
RE7 and REV2 struck a good balance for me.

The thing where you dive backwards and shoot? Great escape tool, especially with Leon's double pistols or Helena's Hydra. In fact, if you use it (or any quickshot) as Helena's last Hydra shot, she automatically reloads it.
