Intellivision controller

ID: hoz4abd

You were the first to answer correctly, so thanks! The Intellivision was my first gaming console. I just thought it would be fun to post a picture and see what responses I got.

ID: hoz518w

Right but what game was best?

For me it is a toss up between Astrosmash and Space Spartans

ID: hoz5thc

My first as well.

ID: hoz6zp1

Right

What's with all the Intelivision posts lately?

Are they getting ready to actually launch the Amico, or stalling cause they're delaying it yet again?

ID: hoz7cwa

I think it's because of all the posts from these kids asking what your first controller was. This isn't there and we need to feel like other people are old too.

ID: hozaova

Actually, you're totally right. I saw some post about controllers and saw the Intellivision was missing. Seemed like a fun post. I thought some people would comment it looked like a phone.

ID: hoz51w6

Wouldn't be surprised if OP is Tommy Tallarico trying to get some sort of hype for the Intellivision Amico which we all know is a failure.

Loved their baseball game!

6 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:19 ID: hoz5rwy

Intellivision was my first gaming console. My older brother would always let me be the #3 boxer for the boxing game because for some reason that guy was unbeatable even with my button mashing technique.

7 : Anonymous2021/12/17 21:37 ID: hoyzjmy

Intellivision, my first console. My mom has the first D & D games for it.

Classic dungeon explorer.

ID: hoz3r6y

I loved this game too. You can really see the very roots of video games from some of the Intellivision games.

8 : Anonymous2021/12/17 21:35 ID: hoyzb38

Intellivision. Missing the insert

ID: hoz30il

Those stupid plastic cards… first thing to get lost for every game.

9 : Anonymous2021/12/17 21:35 ID: hoyzbtc

That’s an old games controller for Mattel, there’s one at the National Video Game Museum here in Sheffield

10 : Anonymous2021/12/17 21:39 ID: hoyzyap

My 2nd console. The console that taught me how to play poker.

ID: hoz7jec

I think it had black jack too didn't it?

11 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:23 ID: hoz68y0

That's a medieval torture device. Clearly.

12 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:43 ID: hoz97gw

God that makes me feel old....

The beginning of an incredible gaming journey, Christmas day forty years ago for me.

20 : Anonymous2021/12/17 21:51 ID: hoz1n81

Had something like this as a kid. Loved it. Too bad my moms sold it at a garage sale

21 : Anonymous2021/12/17 21:54 ID: hoz21z8

Controller for Night Stalker.

ID: hoz2n0x

Oh man, I loved that game! I think Night Stalker would give people a good challenge today.

22 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:04 ID: hoz3k19

My first console

23 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:11 ID: hoz4kfu

Hell yeah. Baseball, Dungeons and Dragons on the Intellivsion. Those were the days baby, with the overlays.

24 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:15 ID: hoz56cv

Over 25 years ago a lady in my apartment building offered me one. I said no because she said it was a Nintendo and I told her no because I had a SNES. My brother said he’ll take it. He then came home with a milk crate with the system and like 20 games, and they all had the plastic controller inserts. I’m pretty sure I saw this on a shelf in my moms shed this past summer.

25 : Anonymous2021/12/17 21:40 ID: hoz03kd

Intellivision

32 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:39 ID: hoz8jbw

I was going to guess a semi primitive phone because of the pig tail.

33 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:39 ID: hoz8l9j

Would love to have an intellivision, this and a wonder Swan are my two most wanted retro systems

34 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:40 ID: hoz8qyi

Angry video game nerd showed me

Pretty sure this is how Captain Kirk communicated with the enterprise

37 : Anonymous2021/12/17 22:55 ID: hozaupc

Probably hundreds of people. If I had to guess I'd say 637 people.
