ID: hqimthhConsidering he leaves a bloody trail on the wall on his way out to the balcony, I think a more likely scenario is that he was fatally wounded elsewhere and stumbled out to the balcony, where he sat down and died. At which point crows started in on him.

There was blood on the wall just before the balcony. He was probably injured and trying to hide.

He didn't know where he was going I'd say. Just trying to find somewhere safe to treat the injuries he had sustained earlier (Hence the blood in the corridor to the balcony) and got ambushed by crows.

My head Canon is that he was actually bit by a zombie or something else and was infected. I think he went out to the balcony afterward, didnt feel so hot, and passed out. As he was passed out is when the crows got him. Thus why hes actually sitting down rather than laying down.

Best bet is it had something to do with his wounds. Which is probably also why the crows managed to actually kill him, too weak to fight back.

It would be nice to have some short CGI movie that would show the events through which every BRAVO team went. We saw Rebecca's story in Zero, although with some inconsistencies with the main story, and we saw only glimpses of events through which other characters went.

The theory I heard was he ran into some of the other creatures out there and may have even been wounded, then ran out there for sanctuary but met his end my crows

Realistically? Likely looking for a vantage point to scout the area or was making his way through thr mansion and that's where he happened to get pecked to death.

Well we can only speculate but still. Richard, Rebecca, Kenneth and Forest are exploring mansion. Richard gets bitten saving Rebecca. They decide to look for a serum ASAP and split-up. Rebecca stays with Richard while Kenneth and Forest are looking. On the main hall they hear gunshots from outside. As time is precious Kenneth and Forest split again. Forest goes to balcony to check WTF is going on. Meanwhile Kenneth goes through dining hall to chemical room. Enter Alpha team. Forest is already dead, surprised by crows and thanks to grenade launcher that is highly ineffective for such enemy. Kenneth dies not so long after. Mere minutes after Alpha enters mansion. Did they roam around with zombies for 24h? Honestly with that grenade launcher they could blowup this shithole.

I’m writing a movie based on REmake right now as I wasn’t super satisfied with WTRC.
It starts when BRAVO team splits up. Enrico sends a few towards the mansion because that’s an obvious hideout spot for the escaped Billy Coen and Rebecca and Edward toward the train.
When Forest and Kenneth get to the mansion the front door’s locked but there IS a way inside…. Up the fire escape to the balcony.
In my eventual Zero we’ll see the balcony is the only place the radio works so Forest is out trying to report that the mansion’s compromised when he’s pecked to death.

Not the ideal way to go but I’d take crows over Yawn any day of the week.
