What I despised about it was that it was only 4 episodes and lasted about as long as a movie. So why not make it a movie??

The plot is frustratingly stupid and unbelievable especially with how they handled Clair and Leon dynamic where now they have a bitter leave with each other, as if to justify the lack of cooperation between Claire and Leon

ID: hqjiz2kThank you! Yea! Idk what OP is on. I mean, to each their own and if they liked it, cool, but please god don’t give Infinite Darkness a season 2. This show/movie was legit character assassination. Claire is a badass biker chick who survived Raccoon City and they devolve her into some damsel in distress in this movie. And then you have Leon who now we know directly caused the events of RE5 cause he wouldn’t trust Claire with intel. I used to joke and be like “ACAB… except Leon Kennedy” but fuck that, Leon is as cop as cop gets with his blind loyalty to the state.
What’s really sad is that the CG movies, while hella over the top, generally we’re pretty good. Damnation, Vendetta, and Degeneration we’re all pretty enjoyable, especially as canon entries into the series. Infinite Darkness just played out like a really bad fanfic by somebody who had only played RE6.

It was (unfortunately) pretty awful, so I don't think many people will come back to it

It was really bad IMO, so I hope they don't. But I welcome any other type of show that's actually good.

Hopefully if there is a sequel they just keep it a movie or make it a true series. There was no reason to chop that movie into 4 parts and call it a series.

I hate Leon in this and it's very frustrating to me cause I love him as a character. That flirting scene with Shen May was soooo uncomfortable and creepy not even cheesy and funny like RE4, my internal thought was "WTF dude, WTH happens to you????"

I hope instead of another midquel, we get to see what characters are up to during 7 to 8.

ID: hqic1z6Good luck with that. He made it clear that he will never put Jill in any of these because she "already got to be in the live action movies." Those were his words in an interview which makes no sense because Claire, Leon, Chris, and Ada also got to be in those live action movies. Dude was looking for any excuse to not put Jill in his CGI projects.

The design for Claire in this one is my personal favourite, I’m hoping they’ll stop going so far in time though because these guys are going to be 90 if they keep fast forwarding
