Do people realize that Halo 3 multiplayer still exists and is better than ever on MCC? You can go play it on a PC, Xbone, or S|X for a single dollar right now if you haven’t used up your game pass trial.

All of my best gaming buddies, only a handful have I ever met face to face, met on Halo 3. Memories, sure, but the friendships have lasted longer.

The Halo 3 Beta was the best Halo ever made. So many great times in such a short period of time.

They took the servers offline for a console that is 15 years old, but the game is very much alive. So why are you guys burying the game that is literally not dead?!

The servers for MCC and entirely different and dedicated servers that don’t talk to the old 360-era online servers that Halo 3 uses to match players to form P2P games in MM

I haven't played it for about 2 years but reading this the memories came flooding back. I put hundreds of hours into making infected maps in forge and playing swat with my schoolmates.
One of the best games ever!

This would’ve made sense for halo 2 back in the day but halo 3 has been ported and those servers are operational and actually better than the original severs. When halo 2 went down it was darkness for years before anybody who wanted to play swords on lockout with some online buds could.
Was that the last operational server for xbox360s?
