Essentially the comment being made here is that the n64 is about a year older than your think it is and that's... sad.

I picked up N64 in 97, and Xbox in 2004.

Then again, these kind of 'you're old' things never really work on me. I mean, I got my PS2 & my Sega CD the same year. When your play is already split between new & old, it just makes everything feel kind of unstuck in time.
I mean, I know I'm old, but pointing out my PS2 is 20 now ain't gonna shock me into the realization!

ID: hsp1qcbDon't worry, was just a joke. From some quick searches, the average age seems to be around 25-30, depending on the source. Also worth noting a large chunk of redditors seem to be in the 35-45 age group.

It’s mad to think back to ‘86, friends round, License to Ill blasting and me and my mates (who I haven’t seen for years) huddled round watching me play Summer Games on my c64.
