it must be hard i mean they drop my health to 1 and i cast a shield spell and while they break the shield i just heal by eating food then once they break the shield i cast a spell that turns the mob into dust,exp,loot, and coins

Then there's a player like me, who grinds for a week to a month before finally advancing and then wondering why the mooks of the next stage are so weak. Who completes any type of RPG MMO game within a couple thousand years or gives up because I end up spending 90% grind and 10% other gameplay.

I enjoyed buffs in KOTOR cause they're stimpak injections you jab into your thigh.
Before going into a big boss fight you roid up on a cocktail of like a dozen different uppers and fight like you're hopped up on pcp.
They're probably all deathsticks

Kingdom Come: Deliverance addresses this. Potions add to your max fullness (which you want to keep in a specific window for the well-balanced diet buff), and if you go over the maximum you get a major movement/manipulation debuff. If you think you'll be in serious combat, it's wise to skip breakfast. It's also a legitimate reason you might want a tapeworm!

Imagine actually using your consumables on a boss fight when there could be an even tougher one around the corner.
Imagine not finishing what turned out to be the final boss fight with hundreds of consumables in your pocket, each of which is now completely useless if not for an alternative universe where you needed it for the boss...
