Literally what were they thinking? Revelations wouldve been so good if they just stuck to the damn ship. All the episodes off it like Terregregia with all the Hunters and the beach with those boring glob things were terrible.

I didn't mind Keith too much, but Quint is so damn annoying, I just wished he'd shut up. Easily one of the worst characters in the franchise to me.

Japanese games always have weird characters. “Dude who pushes glasses up on his nose”, “random southern hot chick”, “Ed Hardy shirt meat head”, “Stereotypical NY accent wise guy”. The also use name like Adam Malcovich, Natasha Cortez, Max Coronodo….

Steve from CV and Irving from RE5 are my least favorite characters in the series. Both have annoying voices, poorly written, and ultimately serve no purpose to the overall story.

Like Rev1 was bad for many reasons, but Jessica sticks out as the worst.
Rev1's tag line might as well have been "We hear that there's still some women who play our games and we didn't like that."

I thought they were funny but I typically love the characters most people despise. Quint was my favorite to play in Raid Mode.
I always thought Steve Burnside was pretty annoying, though.

All the non ship parts of that game were awful. If it ever gets remaked I hope they fix it

They definitely tried to test the water with this duo and got instantly shut down lol. I found myself thinking that the time with them should have been with more ship sections because the ambience and overall vibe is unmatched

REV as a game is pretty good imo, but the section with these two is boring and annoying af. They go first, second is Ada and her whole arc (which is pretty unpopular tbh). Jessica goes third to me, and next is Irvin to me

Steve. He's almost an adult with the voice of a 13 year old. He has the personality of a 13 year old too. And his plot to have a romance with Claire, a college aged adult is weird.
Not to mention trying to kiss her while she's asleep.

Pretty much every character introduced in Revelations. The character designers were on crack when they made these two and that redhead dude with the insane grimace. The partner characters were okay I guess? But like... could we not just have a game where Chris and Jill are actual partners?

The one good thing about Quint was how he was handled at the end. It's the one good thing his character ever did and it's the best way to send off an annoying ass human being - make him do something actually useful to the plot.

My wife hated pretty much every side character in this game. But Jackass and Jessica were at the top of the list.

Ada, and Jessica to a lesser extent. Don't like double agent characters. Ada has that smug "I'm better than you" plot armor. It rubs me the wrong way.

So many to choose from. Capcom should hire at least one non-weeb westerner to proofread for them, get the cringe factor down a smidge.

I enjoyed Rev 2 miles ahead of the first one. The ship was interesting at first, but everything else just felt... like a Sonic cartoon?
