- What is your favourite evil residence?
-
Mine is probably the REmake version of the RPD
ID: htnuwfz -
def the remake RPD building
-
Remake version of Spencer Mansion with Remake RPD a close second.
-
Baker House
ID: htn6bhlprobably the most believable in structure/layout
ID: htn7c13Most unnerving location as well, in my opinion. The first playthrough of RE 7 has been one of the most anxiety inducing gaming experiences of my life. It'll never be the same as that first playthrough.
-
Baker Estate
-
Honestly, I feel the village castle is the best, but for some reason it lack the atmosphere I was hoping for. So my favorite, is a rework of the castle somehow. I know weird answer.
ID: htmc7d1Village castle has the best graphix but it's very linear, not much exploring to be done

7.

Can’t decide at this time lol. I guess I’m fond of RPD cuz that’s where I started…
But how about an honourable mention:
Revelations 2 Mansion was pretty creepy.
-
Spencer Mansion or House Beneviento
ID: htmsqmhI was gonna say that should be on the list too.
ID: htnqn2pBeneviento had me spooked my first play through. It was still kept up well enough that it was just outright scary but the lack of enemies and atmosphere made it so unnerving. Then the baby pops in. Have not had that fun of an experience in a horror game in a long time
-
The Spencer estate is so goddamn iconic that it’s hard not to pick.
RPD is an easy number 2 though.
-
Resident evil 1 mansion is my favorite followed by Re village
-
First version of the Spencer Mansion! Can’t go wrong with the old school games
ID: htmotykLove it where it all started for me..
“JiLl dOnT oPeN tHaT dOoR”
-
RPD, REmake mansion, Salazar’s castle.
-
Spencer Mansion, Baker Residence, Dimitrescu Castle, House Beneviento
Spencer Mansion and Beneviento I can't decide for top tho. I'd say Beneviento since it's the most unique and somewhere I'd wanna live: not too big, not too small. Elegant but subdued. Plus...the location where it's near the waterfall would seal the deal. Such a relaxing location.
-
Spencer mansion because there's no creepy demonic fetus in the basement
-
The original Spencer mansion in RE1, because nothing will ever replicate the thrill and terror of not knowing what was around the next corner back in 1996 The Baker house in RE7 for being the closest to RE1 in spirit. (although I never quite worked out why they had a fully-functioning morgue in the basement given they were supposed to be a "normal" family pre-Eveline) House Beneviento in Village for taking me completely by surprise. You've just killed Lady D, you've upgraded your weapons and charge up to the house ready to kick ass and take names, and there isn't a single enemy to kill until the very end (and the giant baby is disturbing as hell)
Honourable mention goes to the second Spencer mansion in the RE5 Lost in Nightmares DLC for its callbacks to the original, like the windows that break when you go down the corridor that has the dogs in RE1
-
RPD, original or remake, doesn't matter
-
Where is the umbrella training facility?
Or the rockford island mansion?
ID: htltkcqI obviously couldn't include every single mansion or facility.
ID: htlurdjOh ok
(Cuz the training facility might be my fav)
-
Hands down the Baker estate
-
OG RE2. It was decades ago but I still remember upstairs of the main hall. As the camera angle changed a bloody licker was in mid air and continued to chop me in half. One of few jump scares for me personally. Remember it like it was yesterday.
-
Remake version of the RPD. The first castle is gorgeous in RE village though
-
RPD remake closely followed by the baker estate
-
spencer mansion
-
All of them. Capcom never fails when it comes to the setting
-
OG Mansion, RE 4 castle, RPD, Baker house, Castle D
-
Definitely RE2make RPD - they took the original and improved in all the best ways possible. The art direction is incredible. Baker mansion is quite cool as well and was a nice "return to form" for the series.
-
seeing the police station in the remake for the first time blew my mind because of how beautiful yet haunting it was
-
Most of them are very good but I think I will have to go for RE 2 Remake RPD or RE 1 Remake Spencer Mansion
-
Spencer’s mansion has my heart
-
Resident evil 4
-
REmake mansion. It's one of my favorite games, and captivated me ever since I 1st played it as a kid.
-
Baker Residence and RPD
-
RPD Station on Resident Evil 2 Remake. That shit was awesome..
-
I honestly did not like resident evil 7 at all deff going with the classic RPD re2/3 classic & RPD remake
-
Rpd ps1.
-
Baker house for sure.
-
RPD
-
I like the Castle from Village the most
-
Spencer Mansion
-
RPD of both versions. I'm always partial to the 'Assault on Precinct 13' vibes I get with it.
-
The Ashford's palace.

RPD REmake has the best balance of having very open spaces and claustrophobic spaces, and it makes BOTH terrifying. If Baker mansion was bigger and more winding then it would nearly take the spot, but gotta factor for the classic Resi 2 nostalgia being totally updated with a few surprises thrown in there
