- What's an underrated game that aged well?
-
Star Wars Republic Commando. Decent enough shooter with easy, intuitive squad control.
ID: hvvd6hm -
Asura's wrath
ID: hvtmopoMan that game was sick! Loved it so much.
ID: hvum30fSHUT UP WYZEN!!
-
Mad Max - I never experienced better car combat.
ID: hvtfpb5Mad Max is criminally underrated as a whole. It captures the mood perfectly.
ID: hvtovl9Playing it now, it got way worse of a rep then it deserves. Way to many comparisons to Arkham because of the melee combat
ID: hvtx1a2Yeah this was one of the few good rare Movies into Games type situation...
ID: hvuq88gIt's a bit repetitive and there's not much of an endgame. Other than that its a really great game.
ID: hvtskqzcurrently replaying it, that game is definitely a diamond in the rough
ID: hvu2sfdI played it for a very short time when I first got it, thought, meh it's just a Arkham city clone.
Played it through last year and realised I judged it far too soon, it is a very good game and the vehicle combat is sooo good
ID: hvu06jeThe atmosphere is perfect and every car upgrade felt meaningful.

Sleeping Dogs is an absolute gem
ID: hvu5lsoAnd the music…
ID: hvunjzmI discovered Lorn through this game and have been listening to everything he’s ever released since. Nobody quite nails a certain mood like Lorn does, amazing artist
ID: hvudek5Can't think of a game that deserved a sequel more.
ID: hvugth8the combat system is so. . . visceral like the arkham games but more satisfying, wont ever forget tackling a guy and impaling him on a fish hook (second hand wincing lol) and throwing people's heads into exhaust fans.
the main menu music still makes me feel like a main character to this day lmao the score was perf
ID: hvuvwitOr when you travel to "classic kung fu movie" island and you're throwing bodies into gears to slow the mechanism down, lol
ID: hvu9dtjI've lost count how many times I've replayed Sleeping Dogs. Its so goooood
ID: hvttygzY u no hav pork bun in yo haaand?
ID: hvtvjjfA man who never eats pork buns is never a whole man!
ID: hvulus0I’m like one of 2 people in my gaming group that has played this gem. We’ve been trying to put everyone on it for YEARS. I still play through the story once or twice every year
-
Jade Empire.
-
Bulletstorm
-
Singularity
ID: hvtpuv5That was a good time (pun very much intended).
-
Prey 2017
ID: hvtk5o7The devs nailed everything about the game: space movement, story, incredible gun play, graphics. Would love a sequel!
-
Fucking infamous 1 & (especially) 2 are some of the greatest open world super-hero games ever made and they're so incredibly underrated.
Infamous 2's movement and combat is so fun and fluid. Far beyond its successor "Second Son" and on the same level of games like Spider-man ps4.
I wish they were available on ps4 or ps5.
ID: hvtmzo8They are in Playstation Now last time i checked. Check your region list of games first or the trial, but the controls were horrible compared to Second Son...just a fair warning
-
Valkyria Chronicles. There’s a remaster for PS4 which is close to being a perfect game. Can’t recommend it enough as too few people tried it.
ID: hvudv76VC4 was a solid sequel. Glad it finally got a non-mobile sequel.
-
XIII
that game is oozing in so much charm my pc is bleeding
-
Earth Defense Force 2017. The graphics are laughable, the voice acting is a joke, the story is practically nonexistent, but you know what? It is FUN. Too many modern games try to impress instead of entertain.
ID: hvtx6qhThose games are stupidly fun. Pure, glorious gameplay.
-
I don’t think it’s underrated, but the first dishonored game is really something. Still holds up today in terms of story, gameplay, and even graphics imo.
-
I feel like the Mercenaries series (Playground of Destruction and World in Flames) never quite reached the level of popularity they should have. They had great promise and still are my favorite games today.
-
Heavenly Sword. Still a fun game, and despite coming out in 2007 it honestly looks pretty good for such an early PS3 game
-
Master of Orion II.
-
Medal Of Honor: Airborne
-
The only game I'd like Square Enix to make a remake:
Valkyrie Profile
-
Dragons dogma
-
Alan wake
ID: hvugphrIf you’re a fan of Alan Wake you should try Control it’s made by the same company and ties Alan Wakes story in the DLCs
ID: hvumecwHow similar is it to Control in terms of gameplay? LOVED Control and would love to spend more time in that universe but there's some styles of game I just can't get on with.
-
Heroes of Might and Magic 3. None can replicate that masterpiece!
-
Sunset Overdrive
-
prototype 1/2
-
Project Zomboid

That game actually makes B2’s a real menace like they probably would be in real life.
