Just took our first one home literally an hour ago. Be ready to be humbled hard and ask for lots of help. It’s ok to not know, and it’s ok to get emotional at odd times. I wish I had hid it less. Reassure her you’re happy to help in any way, even if it seems silly to her. Ask the nurses when you should be worried, they are generally way less worried and they are generally right. Good luck!

ID: gr8n5rkAs a nailbiter in remission (you're never cured) it's the hardest thing imaginable to stop. Completely subconscious, always available. It took my youngest kid imitating me and doing it himself for me to find the willpower to avoid it for kid number 2.
