Honestly, 2016 was the fittest I've every been.

And then 2020 fucked it up.

Pokémon Go users are basically real life Flagsmashers, using a phone app to find AR stops.

ID: gv1zpf8

The app is designed to make you go into store. People who play pokemon go are just your average consumers...

2020 is the fittest I've ever been.

Seriously do push-ups daily, sit-up variations daily, and if you can buy some dumbbells. 2020 was the perfect year to focus on myself while working from home, built hobbies, worked hard on fitness, and improved cooking.

Unfortunate circumstances happen (like those who sadly lost a job), but for everyone else focus on you, otherwise you're the only one to blame.

Edit: This is coming from a fatass who spent the first half of quarantine getting even more fat. First pushup day was 3 pushups. It's completely on you, and I finally accepted that.

Doesn’t look like a single Pokémon Go player that I have ever seen.

ID: gv1wkp9

you can tell a person is playing pokemon go when they walk into something.

that could be walking into a pole, or walking into a person, or walking into traffic.

ID: gv1xuxz

you mean slowly walking around while eating doritos doesn't make you into Mr Olympia??

If only the game were anything like this and not just sitting at a local bar spinning stops.

ID: gv1waf2

More rural areas require a lot more movement to get to poke stops. Experiences may vary.

Sure never had to climb any trees or deadlift any logs though lol

ID: gv1x47p

True, I was being facetious. I'm currently on a ragequit from the game, so I was throwing unnecessary shade

I wish Pokemon go had water Pokemon near water and gohst in graveyards etc. It would be so fun to go to specific places to hunt.

ID: gv1x19o

It is exactly like you mentioned...I used to go near graveyards to find ghost type, near lakes or rivers to find water type, in the parks it was full of grass type and etc.

ID: gv1ycix

Have they updated it? I haven't played for a child years but I went to a grave yard and don't see a single ghost type.

ID: gv1xpmc

they used to have poison types at auschwitz

ID: gv1y27h

Nooooo....

ID: gv1y89m

Wheezing?

ID: gv1w9b6

uh they dont? I can only ever find magikarp at the seaside

ID: gv1z0i8

Water is definitely more likely to spawn near lakes and beaches. When I go to the beach, there's far more Water-types around vs. when I'm just sitting at home. It could be worked out much better, though. Weather and season still have way more influence on what Pokémon spawn than location. The various biomes are very central to most Pokémon titles and a big part of the fun. I miss most of that in GO.

Pokemon GO is Niantic's baby, not Nintendo's.

ID: gv1ymj5

The Pokemon Company is a completely different company from Nintendo.

Ooooohh

Checks out.

Worst kind of player

ID: gv1wjr2

Honestly I had to do that before I could drive. My town had zero poke stops and I lived in the middle of nowhere with my dad having the only vehicle at work all day. It's nice for people who have no other way to play, but it sucks that some people abuse it. I now play whenever I am outside on a walk or taking a break from skateboarding. Still miss my account that got banned though.

If only the game was that involved

11 : Anonymous2021/04/19 06:13 ID: gv1xa9z

I know like a single person that still plays pokemon go

12 : Anonymous2021/04/19 06:20 ID: gv1xt53

Pokemon: Global Offensive

Pokemon Go is honestly what got me back in the gym. I was stationed in Japan and when it (finally) got released I spent 2 of my weekends walking up and down an outdoor mall that had Pokestops all over it. Literally 8-12 hours a day walking till my legs were all chafing. Then I thought to myself, after feeling my legs all sore, why not hit the gym instead for a few hours.

It was the jumpstart I desperately needed.

Take-a da kidz, make-a dem... strong

16 : Anonymous2021/04/19 06:42 ID: gv1zees

Everyone I know who plays/played pokemon go, and was fat, is still fat.

17 : Anonymous2021/04/19 06:43 ID: gv1zh3l

Those first few months when Pokémon Go came out were amazing. I have so many good memories of running all over town with my friends collecting Pokémon.

And then businesses started putting up signs like "Private Property. No Pokémon go players" and shit

And then the game became stagnant and everyone I knew stopped playing and never went back

18 : Anonymous2021/04/19 06:02 ID: gv1wfvu

Had me in the first half, I thought this was going to be wholesome "I kids to go outside and exercise with a game." Still kinda true, but not as wholesome.
