ID: gvgi1w0Besides all the obvious things he did, he also released an album called “The Chronic: 2000” when he knew that was supposed to be the title of Dr. Dre’s new album, meant to be a sequel to 1992’s The Chronic. So Dre had to change the name of the album to 2001. Evidence of this can still be heard in some tracks of the album, including Light Speed, where before each chorus there’s a sample of a woman saying “Chronic, 2000” and Dre later had to insert himself saying “1” right after.
