I would advice everyone playing resident evil village tonight to avoid YouTube till you’ve actually played it, everyone and their mums are putting up walkthroughs and reviews with spoiler thumb nails and i almost ruined it for my self.

Be cautious.

Thanks for the warning. I was thinking the same thing. 8-bitryan has his first episode uploaded and I'm not watching it until I start or even beat the game to avoid spoilers. But again thanks for the warning.

Publishers would give early copies to reviewers so they can, well, review it and release the review either before or at the same time as the game releases. This would normally be fine and videos will only drop around release, but in this case it seems that capcom is giving so many copies that even small reviewers with small subs are getting it. Adding to that, some local retailers in some countries sometimes outright ignore the release date and give the copies to customers as soon as they receive them.
