I wanted the Japanese version. The Y button is greener on the other side.

Every american, european, and japanese wanted the game boy version.

Real talk that one has the best d-pad in the set.

I’ve always preferred the jp/eu look 🙁 but I’m cheap, no way I’d import one just for the color

Bought this years ago for the PC, not knowing Id get a switch. It's so good.

Yep absolutely love these things. I actually have the gameboy version and the generic style purple button wired one for my pc. Such good quality!

ID: gy4rpjv

Yep! just bought the switch pro controller for the comfort tho.

I am jealous

How is it hard to get? It’s on Amazon with free prime shipping. A little overpriced but not outrageous.

ID: gy51fm3

You can't buy them on amazon here in the UK. You can buy the newer ones but not the older snes style ones any more. Sadly.

Prior to covid I remember it was super easy to find and even at Best Buy. But at least in the US the whole coastal thing will delay more things than there are Smash Bros characters.

The US XY buttons look like parmaviolets.....

ID: gy53fgw

They do!

I wish you could still get the various versions of the N30Pro2 here in Canada, I'd love to have the full set of 4 - the N, 6, M, and C.

As an American, I swapped out the buttons on my original SNES pad for colored 3rd party controller buttons. Twas grand.

9 : Anonymous2021/05/14 18:42 ID: gy4pvk4

1) the Japanese/PAL colours are better

2) this is the best damn controller for the Switch that I have ever used, even better than the Pro Controller

ID: gy4vt9i

I thought so too until the SN30 Pro+ came out. Another excellent controller.

ID: gy54a10

I just wanna wake my Switch using my SN30 pro...

ID: gy5m5lc

Laughs in Pro 2

never thought I’d be a fanboy for third party controllers but here I am...

I always taught the american version is ungly

I'm european

ID: gy518yc

Ugly

ID: gy51ii8

I like them both!

ID: gy52j6z

It was only my opinion

I'm over here wanting the PAL controller lol. Always thought the color scheme was more exciting.

ID: gy4wjo6

Grass and greenness and all.

I like the more refined scheme of the American colors, and the PAL console looks too much like an answering machine.

For those wondering the Pro+ version is the same controller with love handles (grips)

The Pro+2 released last month and has a switch on to back for easier syncing among platforms, but is most likely out of stock everywhere.

Congratulations. Probably it's a great controller. Here in Brazil the price is absurd.

14 : Anonymous2021/05/14 22:47 ID: gy5lo85

I have the one with the redish buttons ..

I wish they had these two versions on the Pro+ or Pro+ 2.0 versions. The closest they have to the american version is "sort of" an american version. It has purple buttons, but the concave and convex buttons aren't as pronounced, and the bottom two buttons aren't dark purple. And there is no Japanese/European version of the Pro+. A damn shame. Cuz I love these versions, just hate using sticks and triggers on these versions.
