ID: gzutwm3I don't think it ever will tbh. Quantum computing is useful for certain types of calculation, but for a normal user, the regular computer will always be a better option.

ID: gzvey5bTbf, it wasn't a bad practice, since the games themselves were pretty good, but they were stuck in a failed console. It was a way for more people to experience them. There's a reason that they sell well.

This whole period of time has clearly been a cash grab. But it’s smart cos it’s allowed them to pump huge resources and time into RDR2, so I’m hoping GTA6 is the same.
Although I kinda lost a bit of respect for Rockstar with how much they’ve milked it and of course, micro transactions.
ID: gzvvaklWell it could be argued that resources & time weren't so much pumped into RDR2 as wrung for all they were worth by poor management. But hey, it worked out in the end, so I guess tHe HaRd WoRk PaId oFF.
They could definitely afford to do the same with GTA6, and probably are doing so unannounced (or at least conceptualizing it) but I doubt it will get anywhere near the light of day until GTAO starts to peter off. Until then, Take-Two would be crazy to do anything at all that might disrupt the shark card gravy train.

To be honest, I'm really happy they didn't release GTA VI. I want them to work on new things instead of recycling the same game over and over again every few years. I don't want GTA to turn into Fifa or Call of Duty, which is just the same game every year with a different name. Rockstar is working on Agent right now, let's give it a chance instead of whining about GTA VI. Bethesda is working on Starfield instead of immediatly making a slightly different copy of Skyrim and calling it Elder Scrolls VI.

Vice city came out so quickly after 3 .
ID: gzvpk1pSimpler graphics and models, smaller maps, and recycling of assets was part of the reason why games in the early 2000's had such a small time frame between their releases.

Especially when growing up with GTAV means your 15. Most of us probably grew up with GTA3, Vice City and/or San Andreas.
