after playing about 3000 game of Minesweeper, it's first time I have seen a "6"!

3,000 games on minesweeper and you’re still on easy? If you increase the difficulty you’ll see more 6’s and maybe some 7’s and 8’s.

ID: h0bvh7pHonesty it’s probably possible for a 3x3 section of blocks to be entirely bombs. I guess you either finish the rest of the game or gamble to see if there is a bomb in the middle. Either way will certainly result in crying

Yo. Okay, minesweeper is actually so much fun and ive never told anyone that i play it somewhat regularly. Im 20 years old, have a mid tier custom PC with hundreds of games and apps on it. But for some reason Minesweeper just hits different.

7 is the most u can find. i think
ID: h0b0fju8, as you can have a cell completely surrounded. Doesn't happen very often though, even in harder games.

I remember winning the easiest setting by clicking 1 button. Now, I can't remember if this happened or if I dreamt it, as it was about 15 years ago.

Can someone smarter than me figure out just how unlikely it is to get a 6 in an easy game? I think it would be something like
((# of ways to make 6 shape with 10 mines)*(# of places the 6 shape can place on the board)) / (# of ways 10 mines can arrange on 9x9 grid)

If you see a 3x3 grid of bombs. Is the middle always an eight or could it be a bomb?

7 - rare
8 - very rare
9 - would be legendary.
if I were to spot 3x3 I would clear all others and leave it for end. if it were true 9 then by clearing all others would automatically win without marking one in the middle, and if there would be no more mines and still no win then click in middle.

Rare on the smaller ones, but quite common on the bigger ones. 40 mine ones, less so, but 99? absolutely
the small ones like that, 10-30s to finish (sometimes sub 10). so this might have taken as little as 750 minutes to get 3000 games (assuming getting on a roll with these small ones, 15s average)

Play on harder difficulties, you can get 8's from time to tiem.
