- After 7 long years it finally happened

Wow. Never seen the E Series model run into the RROD
Do you know what the cause is? Ring pattern should tell you. Maybe a good re-pasting of the APU could fix it?

Now wrap it in a towel and a bunch of blankets and turn it on. Let it overheat and fix itself.
ID: h7h9f04if that doesnt work-- take off the shell, put it in the oven at 250 for 20 minutes.
if that doesn't work take it apart and put pennies on the heat sync
if that doesn't work... I dunno-- try the oven again.

ID: h7h9rvgI actually fixed my own 360 back in the day by causing it to overheat with blankets. It only lasted another month or so but thats one more month that I didn't have to shell out money for a new one.
ID: h7hd39hLMFAO!! I did the penny crap! So bad.

I’m sorry for your loss

Just hit it with a hammer, that usually seems to fix the red ring.
-
This is sad
-
Oh man sorry for that. My original ps3 just got the BLoD. I know the feeling.
-
Pull it apart like others have said. Give it a good cleaning, wrap it and bake..
-
I got a Xbox 360 last year and I wanted the S and so far no problems.
-
Meanwhile my 360 is still chugging along
-
At least she died playing a great game
-
You can fix that issue pretty easily.
-
Before you do anything else, get a can of compressed air and spray it in the vents, it’s fixed mine 4 times over the past 9 years
-
Is that the Xbox 360 E?

The S and E don’t have RRODs, just a red light, mine just needed to be dusted
