Love what you did with the white space in between the building structures. Really makes it look like the city has a glow to it.
ID: h86pvepID: h86xs81yeah i came here to also compliment the white outlining, it's perfect
ID: h877eo4Thank you very much!!

I'd love to have this on my mousepad.
ID: h85uh4kThank you! Maybe I will put it on mousepads next time!
ID: h85wriaI'd pay for one of those.
-
Absolutely beautiful
ID: h85uhgbThank you!
ID: h8681g6If you haven't already considered it, you should look into services that will put your artwork on stuff to sell. I volunteer for an organization that puts artwork on t-shirts for fundraising, for example.
I'd totally buy a mousepad or something like that if it featured this incredible work!

That's fantastic. Area's one of my favorite places in the Souls series, partly because it's gorgeous and partly because it meant I wasn't in the Catacombs anymore.
I also like how my repeatedly getting murdered by those knights and those fire dudes is tastefully left just off panel.

Stupid question, but do you freehand all the lines, or do you use a ruler?
ID: h8776zmI draw it all freehand. If you look closely, the lines are very messy and wiggly! So the complete sketch is a little crooked here and there.
ID: h878gm3I’m not sure if I’d call those lines messy and wiggly. Some of those longer lines up the sides of buildings are very clean
ID: h87qgzaI don't believe you, in fact I'm convinced you are art robot. this is beyond cool.
ID: h86c2hvNot a stupid question - I’m curious about that, too.
ID: h86r6paI’m sure it’s a mix of both. The straight building walls probably with a ruler and the more organic shapes done free hand. It also depends on the artist, some don’t use rulers that much unless it’s a really long straight line. This could be all free hand for all I know!
ID: h86tjnkLines look freehand, not 100% sure, but given how geometric the composition is I imagine a ruler was used somewhere for planning and guide lines and maybe a few long ones.

I like the angled drawing and I'd hang it like that.
And my wife would take it down.
-
This is more amazing than you think!
ID: h85uhygThank you!
-
After it's matted and framed, you should hang it at 45 degrees so everything lines up.
-
My God, these could be tracings!
-
Love the angle! Super cool
-
My god that's fucking sick. How long did it take you?

Great choice on angling the paper. It was a good risk that paid off and makes this work stand out!

Or being at a grandparents’ house

The sound was usually fine on those scrambled channels.

Great way for the details to not get too busy too, those trees would get lost if the detail of the parts of the buildings behind them were filled in.
