god my heart hurts looking at this. the clocktower is such an amazing location with the story of the umbrella corps who held out there to evacuate as many citizens as they could before they were overwhelmed, cutting it pretty much reduces Re3 remake to nothing but streets and the hospital

Fuck.
This. Infested homes/apartments and alleys in uptown. A moody park/cemetery with trees and nature, and that dark, eerie suspension bridge leading to a rusty dead factory.
I wish we could've seen these depicted in the remake. They really did Raccoon City dirty in this one. The remake's city-wide map in the subway made the entire city look tiny and it shows how poorly planned this it was. Hoping an Outbreak remake would showcase a proper expanded Raccoon City.

Just comes down to poor leadership somewhere along the way at Capcom. This should’ve been approached with as much care as RE2R. Not as a bonus, “oh just add this in too since they liked RE2 so much. Ya know what this seems a little short, just package the stupid spin-off multiplayer thing w this as a free add on so they can’t bitch.”
As soon as the pitch for this project arrived on whoever’s desk green lights this games, that person should’ve said “that’s it? No go back and replicate the original better, the way we did w RE2R. Take as long as you need, we’re not putting out a half-assed product.” What a shame and disappointment.

Yea this makes me wish 3make had this. Could’ve added at least 2-3 hours to the game. I’m holding out for 3make directors cut.
