- Haven't even played it yet and I can already tell its gonna be amazing

I've just started on the Director's cut yesterday after completing my 2nd playthrough of the base game. It's the game I didn't know I needed. Can't wait for the new multiplayer content to launch!
ID: hazax0qID: hazh9ipDirector's cut is an expansion, it adds a new area and new enemies plus an extra story line and cosmetics. If you already own the base game you can upgrade it to Director's cut for about 20 bucks on ps4, not sure about other platforms. In my opinion, more bang for your buck than many other games/DLC I've seen in a long time.
ID: hazoyycGet the directors upgrade to your base game. It is cheaper and worth it, that's what I did. The haptic feedback, controls and iki island are well worth it among some other things.
Also advice: act 2 introduces a lot of great new story, gear, tools, armor, environments etc. Do not try to clear everything on the first island before getting through the main story to act 2. Also try to find the charm of inari early on as its very useful whole game. Its setup in the early area so intended to be found early.
Enjoy, one of my favorite games last gen and one of the most beautiful in my over 30 years gaming.
ID: hazon64Wait, what new multiplayer content? They have done a poor job marketing that given I owned GoT since launch and bought the directors cut
ID: hazpd43The Director's cut only launched on August 20th, along with that they added a couple of new modes to Legends (online) which will become available for play on September 3rd last I checked.
Edit: btw I agree on the poor marketing, I actually had to look this info up myself a few days ago and could only find a handful of articles.

I went to so many areas and took beautiful screenshots but I had no way to get them on my phone without sending them to Twitter and making it look terrible
ID: hazjwvkEasiest way I've found is simply make a group with a friend who won't mind you sending pics to (or use an alt account if you have one). Then send the screenshot. From there it's really easy to download it to your phone from the PS App.
ID: hay9ycaSend to Twitter as you usually do Save screenshots from Twitter1 alt. Send to yourself on PSN (find a group with you as the only person in it, aka make one with a friend then have them leave)
2 alt. Download from yourself off the PS App on your phone
Use the Remini app on phone through a high res filter, and it'll make it look like you just took it from the game.ID: haynpb6I dunno why PlayStation makes this so complicated. In Xbox you upload the screenshots on the Xbox network which is accessible on the mobile app.
That’s it. You download it from there. It’s PNG to boot.

I’ve 100% both the main game and the Ikki expansion. Yea. It’s fucking gorgeous
ID: hayntgjIki is a sizeable step up in terms of graphics.

I don’t normally care about photo mode... this game MADE me care about it. One of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played.

This and Last of Us 2 were two of the most recent console games I couldn't put down until completion.
Great game.
ID: haxoadpI got that one screenshot of the wheatfield at the beginning of the game while riding the horse as Joel, I have the screenshot of the view Ellie and Dina see while on patrol in winter over the town, I have a screenshot of Seattle and the ferris wheel while Abby is escaping the compound with the help of Manny, and I have the screenshot of Joel's guitar sitting in the window at the farmhouse at the end of the game. Favourite screenshot are the second and last ones mentioned. Hell I even have the last screenshot as my banner on my Reddit profile

Same for God of War, I have almost a GB of screenshots

Less-than-decent enemy AI killed my desire to play this game.

I think it's funny that all these games are putting in photo modes now so that we can do their advertising for them.

So I’ve been purposely depriving myself of any exposure to this game for a while now, I’m going to start it soon. What’s the no spoiler difference between directors cut and base game and, if it’s significant, you think I should return the unplayed GOT and buy the directors?
