ID: hddkie3Yoshida said the next time they show final fantasy xvi will be with a relese date, so i'm just expecting a development update. My guess is they're going to show it next year, probably in a new PlayStation showcase. Game will probably come out Q4 2022/Q1 2023.

Oh man I'm dying to see more of the combat. Every game I feel gets closer and closer to something "acceptable."
My opinion on Squeenix combat comes from a love for Dark Souls.

Can anyone tell me where the hype comes from? I heard FF XV was received as okayish and FF XIII was disappointing. So are different people working on this or something?

Why can't I just get a good ol turn based RPG with classic battle style system like Dragon Quest and some updated graphics? How hard is it Square? Why can't I get a FAITHFUL remake of FF6 either while you're at it? Just updated graphics? I'd pay gold for that. Why is Square a company so out of tune a huge player base?

Limited time PS5s seem kinda pointless now. Collectors edition faceplates would be awesome and alot easier on manufacturing since they can't even meet the original consoles demands. It would also make it less likely for them to restrict a limited edition to one region like Japan only or something.
