- AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU Powered HP All-In-One Desktop PCs Confirmed, Launching in 2022
-
Most likely it's a typo. Specs mention i7, so it probably had to be Ryzen 7 xxxx.
And there is definitely nothing in the article about HP confirming it.
ID: hfyy2h5ID: hfyzaqjAnd that is why it is most likely a typo when they wrote '7000 series' instead of 'Ryzen 7'. Especially- because they wrote 'up to Ryzen 7000 series'- an AIO is unlikely to be offered with several processor families. Plus, SSD is misspelled as SSE.
ID: hfz8pojNah, to me it confirms what we suspected: AMD will launch the Ryzen 6000 series early next year. It'll be the mobile APUs (6000H, 6000U) plus the Zen 3D desktop chips (Ryzen 9 6950X, etc.) and quite possibly Threadripper Zen 3 (e.g. TR 6970X) as well.
I wonder if Zen 3D will be AM4 or AM5, however. There is an argument for it to launch on AM5, so they can launch with DDR5 support and maintain their performance lead over Intel while they wait for Zen 4.
ID: hfzt467Or they could release Rembrandt to AM5(as it requires bandwidth and it wouldn't be the first time) and release Vermeer with V-Cache variations to AM4.

Seems that's Rembrandt
-
Listing error, it ain't 7000 and it listed ssd as sse
-
Shouldnt this be a rumor instead? The conclusions this article arrives at all seem way off
ID: hfyz50rthere is a link to the HP store page along with a screenshot of the product showing "coming soon"
ID: hfz0v5cNo i know about the store page, but im talking about the assumption that amd will skip over the ryzen 6000 branding, that just does not seem likely and its more of the author's (very stupid) conjecture.
ID: hfzrukfAgreed, changed flair to Rumor as it states as fact that which has not been confirmed as fact.
For it to be news it would need to say "HP Lists System with Ryzen 7000" or something similar.

Wtfshittech strikes again
-
So like, are they doing odd thousands CPUs and even thousands GPUs now?
ID: hfzquthHow about iGPUs based on square roots?
-
Are they skipping 6000?
ID: hfz5nhnProbably not, and it's just a typo on HP's part.
-
Rembrandt makes a bit of sense as Ryzen 7000 if Vermeer + 3D V-cache is Ryzen 6000. Being a DDR5 product, Rembrandt can only be a part of the AM5 family of products, so it'd make sense for it to have higher numbering than AM4.

Me with a 11600KF after hearing about alder lake:
Stop he’s already dead!

Most probably not. If you look at the other PCs on the list, it always says Ryzen 5, Ryzen 9 etc.
