Side note: Always discuss salaries with co workers. Do not let your bosses pull the wool over your eyes and ESPECIALLY call them out if they say you are not allowed to talk about your salary. Collaborate and make sure everyone is compensated fairly.

ID: hg5kkdfIt’s time like this I still remember that blog post that tried to convince everyone 20 tick is enough. I’m sure rkidney (sorry if misspelled) fell for it as well, but that excuse from the network engineers was absolutely rubbish.
When that story broke on other major subreddits, several engineers and network operators came together and figured out how Respawn’s network engineers smudged the numbers.
Respawn’s engineers said better servers would result in so little benefit, it’d be like going from 58FPS -> 60FPS. This number was true for how they calculated it, but if you take into account many other factors like interpolation time, it really comes out to a whopping 45FPS -> 60FPS equivalent difference if better servers with a higher tick rate were invested into.
Would that solve all of the server issues? No, definitely not. But it would at least be a massive start while Respawn hires more people to fix the net code. I’ll see if I can find the thread on /

What server issues are people still having?

Is it me or do I rarely ever get server crashes?I only get it when it’s really bad like at the start of a season but I’m just fine now. Is it because I’m on playstation?
ID: hg5t5wxNope, not just you. I haven't crashed at all since the fix went live a couple weeks ago. No idea what all the complaints are about now. I think its just this sub being this sub, needing to complain about something. Guarantee within 2 weeks everyone will move on to complain about something else. Maybe crying about a buff to Crypto or something.

i think they can't, otherwise they would have by now. that's why there's no official statement. they know they can't fix it but admitting it is absolutely no option for obvious reasons.

Code shoe kicks me out of every single game. I literally can not play the game. Every team I get has to finish with a 2 man squad because respawn can't make their game playable. I'm just going to keep complaining on this subreddit and not spend another dollar on them. Fck them.

No shit respawn. I was playing ranked earlier and the game just froze completely during the character selection. I waited for over 5 mins for it to somehow miraculously reconnect because I didn’t wanna get penalty, but guess what? I did and it’s cos it just wouldn’t effin’ get reconnected itself, so I had to restart the whole game again and loose points. Pretty BS if you ask me.

My game just crashed with an error that stated I had removed my graphics card from my computer. I did not remove my graphics card.
This game is so hilariously busted I'm struggling to see a reason to keep it installed anymore.

Since day one, I've payed £10 for the battle pass and £20 for a valk skin (too much, i regret it) and I'm atleast 3000 hours in. As far as I'm concerned i won.

My last employer did this at orientation, and made such a big fuss about it. We all thought it was so odd and it made us all discuss salaries almost out of spite lol.
