Marky Mark looks more like Nathan Drake than Tom Holland

Everyone is just too young. The joke about sully looking old doesn't work. And Drake looks way to young to be pulling all this off. It feels weird.

I like Tom holland, but he looks way too young for this role
ID: hhjf5weYeah, the reason he works as Spider-Man in high school is because he looks like a teenager, doesn’t really work for Nathan who is supposed to be youngish, definitely has a few years and experience behind him.

As a huge Uncharted fan, I will give it a chance, but I will keep my expectations in check.

ID: hhi0okgStill sad about this. He would have done an amazing job. I still remember how passionate he was when talking about potentially making an Uncharted movie in the future, around the time Uncharted 2 came out and they reviewed the game on Totally Rad Show.

I wish they made this movie when Nathan Fillion was younger. The dude is fucking Nathan Drake.

The movie itself (locations/action/plot/etc) actually doesn't look terrible? Like I could expect a lot worse from an Uncharted movie.
Chloe and Antonio Banderas work for me.
But that's not Nate & Sully, that's Mark Wahlberg and mayyybe U3 Young Nate.
Tom could probably do a decent job with Young Nate based on what I'm seeing here...but I now realize I don't want to see that kid going through a legit Uncharted style adventure.
ID: hhhodspThat's my issue too. The setting looks good, but the characters just don't fit what we're used to. Plus the story itself seems a bit muddled up
I'll watch it, cause Uncharted, but I've lost some of the expectations I had from this.

Something is off...
I cant put my finger on it but it's not quite right.
I think Tom Holland is a great actor but he's not Nathan Drake, he's too young and I get they want to make another film series so a younger actor is better but it's not what fans of the series expect or want.
Tbh Mark Wahlberg would have made a better Nate and have a middle aged/older Sully. Then in the sequal/Prequel give us the young Nate with a fresher faced Sully.

first of all, i'm not having uncharted-vibes at all.
second, nice to see Mark Wahlberg back in his best role: Mark Wahlberg
I don't think this will be a good uncharted movie. But at least lets hope it will be a good movie in general.

I don't hate it as much within the context of this whole trailer vs the clip leaked earlier, but it doesn't feel like Uncharted's characters, just different characters doing the things from Uncharted.
