Man I'm excited for this.
I know people thought the first one was too "easy" in terms of typical park sims, but for me it was perfect. My son and I loved driving around in the jeep watching the dinosaurs.

Here's 3 hours of gameplay from FightinCowboy, I think he also has part 2 for another 3 hours on his channel already. So far he seems to really be liking it! But this gameplay should be more than enough for you to decide if you're into it.
ID: hjza6nuThanks I'll have to see if they fixed the micromanagement requirements. Aside that the first game was generally fun. Also hope carnivores don't automatically beat walls like the first 1. It was dumb that 1 raptor or whatever could destroy 2 layers of walls and you couldn't do anything about it.

Have fun everyone 😉

How was the console version of the first one? I just can't ever seem to imagine playing a game like this on anything other than a PC but my PC is getting a bit dated at this point.
ID: hjxzvmhHonestly it was just fine. I bought it originally on PC and then decided to get it on PS4 and I made the transition with no issues, the controls are intuitive enough that you get used to it very quickly.
ID: hjyzmzpIt worked great, surprisingly. Even Stellaris works well on console.
ID: hjz4gwoI love Stellaris, I hope they're working on something to let it run at 60 on PS5 because I know the Series X got that enhancement.
ID: hjy5uz3It worked great on PS4, the only issue was the game was pretty bare bones on customizing your park which was an issue on all platforms. Hopefully they put more effort into the sequel.
ID: hjyjilvThey’ve improved this in 2. You can now change the exterior of your buildings between different preset segments for a bunch of combinations.
ID: hjylljoCurious as well. It's hard to pull off these builder sims that are smooth with a controller rather than mouse and keyboard.
ID: hjylz3xPlayed the first on Xbox One S and had a lot of fun. The game isn‘t as in-depth as other simulation games, that probably helped. Games like Cities Skylines I usually prefer to play on PC too though.
ID: hjz9xh1It really isnt that hard to get controls to work in games like this. Its been done for ages.
See Tropico 4 back on 360.
Generally the issue is console versions have limits on other things.

Debating on pushing the limits and seeing if i can sneak this past my wife's eye, really want this one

Just started playing about 15 minutes ago on the ps5. Of course there's glitches, but I would expect that with any launch day game. I'm so fucking hyped about starting the game hunting a Baryonyx in Arizona. Where I happen to live. It's so cool.
I've been a shit talker about Jurassic Park/World games before because of how much I've wanted a JP game in the style of The Last of Us that expands the story and lore. But I did like JWE 1 quite a bit. I'm just excited they are finally expanding the lore with JWE 2!
Supposedly the campaign has ties to the upcoming movie JW Dominion.

I wasn’t aware it was coming out for ps5. I almost got it on pc today but I’m sure my son would love to watch this on the big tv
-
Will it be as good as DinoPark Tycoon?
-
Zoo Tycoon for console better be next.

I enjoyed the heck out of the first one. I just wish this game was like $40 instead of $60. Will be waiting on a sale for sure.
