He was probably already heavily damaged from leg meta by someone else or you got that one in a million chance that a crap round penetrated the ears of the level 4 helmet.

Lower nape. The only region of the head the killa helmet (and every other helmet in the game) doesn’t cover. It’s supposed to be the back of your neck.

There’s been a few videos of people trying to confirm the possibility of shooting through the slit. You can’t. He must’ve been turned around and shot him under the helmet from behind through neck into head. Nape probably.

The visor doesn't work that way. If the helmet was full durability, you may have hit him in the lower nape which the helmet doesn't provide protection for. It's a very rare hitbox that is not well understood.

You never really showed the end of the clip til after identifying the helmet so not sure how you really did it .

I don't think the slit is a hitbox. That was a common misconception when he first came out but it's been proven to be false. I think you hit him in the head and he had low hp so that's why the round killed him from blunt damage.

The slit doesn't "exist" according to Tarkov's ballistics. Think of the face shield as just a metal plate with no holes.
My guess is lower nape or he was already near death.

There is no eye slit opening where the hitbox is concerned. You ether manged to get a bullet up the helmet into the chin or hit a bugged part of the hitbox.
Ears botbox are bigger than the head model and nape hitbox can extrude from helmets with head movement

The helmet is a bitbox, theres no gap in the slit. You just got lucky and the bullet penetrated

Not sure what happened but you didnt go through the slit. Even if you hit the slit it still counts as armor. Definitely a weird bug tho

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't any ammo have a tiny chance to pen any armour? Ball park example, but: even shitty ammo has a <1% chance to pen level 6 armour on the first shot, no?
(Also his nape is lvl 4 not lvl 6, right?)

You can’t hit through the slit, this was most likely a lower nape bugged hit.
People have tested Killa’s helmet thoroughly at this point

No damage to his helmet though? It was a stockless 366 TKM with the worst rounds. I have no other clue as to how he died.
