Is this worth buying if there’s a Black Friday sale?
Been wanting to buy it for a while but not sure if I will like it or if the past issues have been fixed now!

ID: hkrk52kI really enjoyed this game, even with the early bugs, and a friend of mine recently picked it up and we're having a blast playing through it. Definitely recommend picking it up, particularly since it will probably be on sale for cheap over the upcoming holidays.

I was thinking of getting Outriders, but the game being always online, even in a single player campaign, turned me off that thought. I can't risk losing and hour's worth of progress over a random internet disconnection.
Honestly, this whole "always online" thing is so shitty. When Microsoft proposed it for the Xbox One, everyone hated it, and rightfully so. Why are people so accepting of it now?
ID: hks27inI think what Xbox wanted to do was always online wholesale.
So if you didn't connect you wouldn't be able to play any of your games. They also planned to prevent used games being played.
With individual games like outriders I guess isn't as bad as you can just not give them your money.
ID: hkrjve3This particular title "justifies" it by pitching itself as a games as service model. I mean it's there, but there's zero reason to have it.
I've played this for an afternoon and it's fine, but you're honestly not missing much.

I might have to make a brand new character and start fresh, I went through a lot at one point with this game - all the bad things that went on and stopped playing it. This could be my best excuse to play it again.

Did they really remove them? Honest question as i havent played in months now and was playing through campaign with my brother. Havent really been following amy news either.
