I think it's original because not many people think to get one and it only seems like a lot because we are on this thread. I like this tattoo better than the 8bit one with 2 full health hearts with a third one that's half full.

Got it as Resident Evil has become one of my favorite series over the years, but also as a reminder to myself that life isn't too bad and not to stress the small stuff.
