I've always wanted them to make an animated series around one of their more popular characters.
They could have done it years ago. Hopefully the success of Arcane will make them think about turning the Arthas story into a series.

Master Chief. I know there are some adaptations of the Halo franchise, but to see an actual original movie that is based on the actual story line from the games would be amazing to see, if they don't fuck it up somehow.

The Vault Dweller or Pip-Boy. I'd love a live action movie set in the Fallout future, complete with all the offbeat humor, mutants, ghouls, power armor and the Brotherhood.

At the very end, as he is about to make the final blow against Ganon, Ganon asks how he could be so powerful. Link leans in and delivers his only line. "Hey, Listen"... then seals him away.

Commander Shepard from mass effect. Since mass effect the original trilogy is already so well written they would have to work hard to fuck it up, and Shepard can always be male or female so you can fuck around with all of that. Best video game trilogy ever.

Harry Mason. I would love for someone to right the wrong that was those awful 2 movies.
The only reason Harry Mason wasn't the main character of the first silent hill film was because the director felt that a man wouldn't willingly go thru the same hell a woman would to get his daughter back.
That's str8 up bull if you ask me. One major point of the game was the switching of traditional gender roles. Harry Mason is a caring father who is not the action movie type hero in the slightest. he's just a regular dude who loves his adopted daughter unconditionally, he is conveyed as someone with motherly traits which at the time was a very different direction to go with male characters. while the antagonist is a cruel and manipulative mother who uses her own flesh and blood daughter to get what she wants. And then there's badass Cybil Bennett the female supercop. Easily one of my favorite female characters in a videogame.

In the official Opposing Force 2, he died when he injected himself with something in front of Commander Shephard. Valve deleted the game so we may see him again. I hope forgotten characters like Shephard, Gina (who may be dead) and Colette (who was probably detained by gman as the writer of Decay, Randy Pitchford says) will return.
