Would love a translation.
ID: hox84bcID: hox9q6990 tracks? Seems like a lot.
ID: hoxx0ntUSED CARS!!!! 80s and 90s!! I couldn't even finish reading the rest because I'm too excited
ID: hox86zcMy man
ID: hoypna6Wait! Did I just read "Music Rally"?
ID: hozuzeyOver 90 tracks!!!! Brah... I need this game now
ID: hoy9hsgOnly 420 cars?
Or only 420 are in super duper high quality?
Gt 6 had like 1000+ cars. Going down by more than half would feel like a loss.
ID: hoy8j21Does "600 aero parts" mean that there only 600 parts in total for all 420+ cars combined?
ID: hox8bshThis gtplanet link has descriptions of what was shown in the pamphlet but in English, also if you have the Twitter app you can get translations of the post from the op.
ID: hoxc7dmIs Google Translate down or something?
ID: hoxcclhNah just busy at work to translate every tweet 🙁

I don't really play racing games all that often but this has me excited a little bit. First game I ever owned was GT2 and I have very fond memories of that game.
ID: hoydef4Play dirt rally
ID: hoyhy60Very hard game
ID: hp2b4jqSame, I was absolute trash at the game but grinding out races to get slightly cooler cars was severely satisfying. I'm hoping this one is similar in which it has oodles of domestic normal-people cars to play with too.
-
Just give me my used 300zx so I can tune it, oil change it for a couple extra HP then wash it!!! So excited!!
ID: hoxqjneOhhh the memories
ID: hp053erMy first car was a 200sx, the 300zx will always be my dream car. Those tail lights are the best ever. The 300ZX has so much more character compared to the 350Z, it’s not even close imo.
ID: hoze06rDid the wash improve aero? I forget
ID: hozwl6aI hope like hell that it's in the game but it might not make it. I'd take the new Z GT 500 in its place, though.

Just stupid excited for this game.
-
Can't wait for this to come out.
ID: hoxm4jpI’ve only been waiting since… practicality gt4. I try not to think about it lol
ID: hozrgrfDont like 5 and 6?
-
I can't wait, I like Forza horizon 5 on pc, but its not the same, nor is Forza 7. There isnt the sense of progression like there is in GT. Getting the licenses and washing your car etc all just added to the feeling of the game.
ID: hozgnl2It was like a car version of tamagotchi
ID: hoyhpbnTbh FM7 is great. It has progression and it’s very “clear”. I prefer it over gt: sport.
ID: hoyjg4nI like it, but it doesn't have the same feeling for me. I love the licenses and feeling of buying the used cars in GT.
It makes me actually feel like a car collector going and doing the races, rather than a dude just clicking on the next race constantly.

I want to play it on PSVR2!
-
This will be the first racing game I ever buy that isn’t a kart racer.
ID: hoyd75rI mean.. it technically CAN be a kart racer
ID: hozv7zmCan you elaborate? Normally I am more of a NFS guy. The last time I played GT was on a PS1 at a friends house and we were only allowed to play if we made the in game drivers license ( we were 7 years old so we never made it) my friends dad really didn’t want us to fuck up his save file I guess lol.
-
GT7 looks like GT4 @ 4k and I’m really eager for it.
-
So far so good. I hope there isn't a nasty surprise that would ruin all this good will and excitement- because so far, this looks to be the GT game to rule them all.
ID: hoyrvdmThe biggest fear I have is the "nostalgia" factor quickly wears off and modern gamers find they don't actually like that "caRPG" thing old GT games used to do.... grinding races against AI for hours is not actually as fun as you remember. Seriously, go back and play GT 4.
ID: hozfwy7The way I see it, GT4 has two big problems, and none of them really have to do with the RPG mechanics being there, as much as they're just poorly designed RPG mechanics.
First problem is that it's horribly inconsistent with rewards. Some races shower you in cash and some give you fuck all, and there's really no way to know which are which because most of the value of high-reward races comes from the prize car, which you don't know the value of in advance.
Second problem is that there's no way to effectively recoup investments in the game. If you buy a car, tune it up, and find out it sucks, selling it only gives you back a tiny fraction of the money you spent. That means every time you want to try out something new it's back to grinding again.
Those two things compound to make the grind really tiresome. If you're new to the game you naturally have to experiment to figure out what works and what doesn't, but every time you try something and it fails (which is inevitable, considering it's all trial and error), you're "rewarded" with even more grind to get back to where you started, because you need to make back the money you lost acquiring another car.
That kind of grind can work in genres where skill is the main deciding factor in if you win or not (Dark Souls essentially works like that), but in GT4 if you enter a race and your car just isn't fast enough, no amount of good driving can make up for it.
ID: hp0nl23I never had a PS2 as a kid and only picked up GT4 last year, but it's become one of my favorites.
ID: hoyt1zkNobody wants that back and such archaic gameplay designs should die in a fire.
I hope all devs realize that you don't 'trap' and 'force' game time on players, but rather you make them 'want' to keep playing.
-
Just let me know when it has "no permanent connection".
ID: hp2kmh6It has this so they can do challenges and whatnot on the fly and not wait for approval for a patch.
ID: hoy8xybSeriously. GT Mode should be playable offline. I refuse to buy the game. Only thing that would entice me would be PSVR2 compatibility after the poor helping of GT Sport in VR.
-
I hope they have maintained the graphical fidelity they were aiming for.
Give us the Ray Tracing features you promised Polyphony.
ID: hp2kigoNo need for ray tracing while racing. I’d rather have it be 120fps. There is raytracing in scapes which is fine
-
Hopefully this one is fun. Because GT Sport was very lacking.
-
PLease no mtx
-
Hopefully no NFT's
-
Can we get the following:
Competent Ai
No rubberbanding
Qualifying
Somewhat realistic handling
Tone down the tire squeal
-
Real physics ?
