Correct me if Im wrong, but even if RE1 crew would nope out of there, everything else would still happen - RC outbreak wasnt caused by Chris and Jill collecting weird keys in the mansion, and if RC outbreak would happen, then the rest of the series would remain basically unchanged, with the exception of some personal stuff like Chris vs Wesker rivalry.
ID: hphcsfoI think what would have happened is wesker not becoming essentially a Demi god of sorts. He did technically die in RE1 but using Birkins research and mixed with his own he was able to be revived with a mixture of the t and g virus. He also lured in STARS to test their bio weapons but it’s prob safe to assume that NEMESIS still would have been released to hunt down STARS meanwhile Leon would have shown up to possibly a better prepared police force but idk. It’d be interesting to see an alternate timeline where STARS did go back with Brad

I will always maintain that Brad was a traitor alongside Wesker, leaving them there to fight the monsters as planned. Brad was expecting to pick up Wesker after his mission was complete, only to find Jill and Chris at the pick up site. He then claims he panicked and slinked back into the S.T.A.R.S. fold.

ID: hpekxj1Headcanon-wise, he could be seen as an Untrustworthy i guess. Or, it could be that In the grand scheme of things brad was a nobody who outlived his usefulness. Corp like umbrella got no fuckin issues with killin anyone.

The deal with Brad was made between him and Wesker, without Umbrella's awareness. Not so far-fetched when you consider that Umbrella was probably not aware of Barry's involvement in the events until after the fact.
ID: hphd3nfSTARS is still STARS and umbrella killed Birkin for trying to sell his research to us military, I’m sure they’d have no problem killing someone who is seemingly a liability as this point since his helicopter abilities are no longer needed

ID: hpewfe8I thought i read in one of the S.D Perry novelisations his plan was not for Bravo to go down triggering the whole thing anyway, so he was already a bit off script by that point.
