Random drops were always the best. Having it linked to a time of hours watched is just so strange. All these issues will continue to plague the servers as player count increases too

What's everyone's average Scav load time? I'm consistently waiting around 10 minutes on all maps if not longer.

For once I'm glad a full-time job is stopping me from playing this game all day.

Really sucked during the first week of the wipe because I was worried I was missing out on the 'best part' of the wipe (which has been heavily extended now thanks to the changes to the flea market and item bans.) But right now it's a "Well...I mean...at least I'm not missing out." feeling.

Are people losing stuff in their secure cases?
ID: hqfav26Also in stash. Got an items move error and it reset my entire stash to a "version" about 1 hour ago. Lots of stuff disappeared, lots of stuff I already sold reappeared.

I just spent roughly 4.5 mil on keys to do shoreline quests and ledx spawns, got in, servers shit themself, got out, lost the money, and best part, dont have the keys. BEST DAY EVER

Literally did gunsmith 6-14 and received all the rewards and they all disappeared. Now 4 fuel cans have disappeared
Edit: I have also received a shovel. That must be what they used to bury my loot. It’s all worth it now

I just got out of a raid and I hope everything is okay for everybody else. I didn't wanna go grocery shopping but how's a good reason on my day off lmao

Did a PMC raid on Customs. Spawned without my vest and backpack. No biggie, I'll loot some stuff. Find a Bulbex and some Moonshine which I put in my secure container. Later find some dead PMC's, they weren't looted so I took all their gear, which was pretty nice. Extracted and RUAF roadblock. At the end of the extraction timer, I get an error message and need to restart the game. Restart the game and to my surprise, I still had my entire load-out and loot I found in raid. I start moving some stuff around and the moment I move the last Christmas ball I need (purple) to my stash (which prompted the "Christmas tree ready to craft" message), I get another error message, game resfreshes itself to the main menu without my input. I open character and everything I looted from the previous raid is gone. Surprisingly, I got reverted back to my loadout before I started the raid and funny enough, my backpack and vest were back on. There's some serious crazy stuff going on with the servers right now. I suggest everyone to just take a break untill the drop event is over if you don't want to risk losing you current loadout or loot FiR.

I refuse to be a twitch viewer metric at the cost of servers. I lost a full load to server just forgetting I looted. Buddy lost all his keys. This is unacceptable to prioritize new sales over existing customers.

So if enough people say fuck pmc runs and jump in scav queues then scavs will take hours to start.
Basically, we're fucked until enough people get fed up with tarkov for the holidays and quit for the rest of the wipe. Maybe then these red hot Go Daddy servers will cool off and start under preforming like normal.

I just went into a raid as a pmc and died in that raid. Got back to my stash, and the gear I was wearing in that raid was still in my stash. BUT the kit I was wearing in the raid before, which I had survived, was gone.

I just cant understand how people can accept or can being calm of items disappering from their pouch or stash, even valuable items. I will be mad if something relevant disappear bacause servers are trash. Im scared to play now, i dont want to lose my stuff jesus

I spent way too much money on this game for the servers to be this shit and for a random christmas update to reduce my FPS by 60%

every time there is drops this happens, moving things in the inventory takes from 1-2 seconds to 10+ seconds, searching items on the flee often times out and displays nothing, loading in to raids especially on a scav takes double the usualy time or fails and you are stuck on awaiting sesion start for 10+ minutes etc.
other people have been reporting issues with losing items/secure containers etc

EDIT TWO: If you don't want to lose gear, do not move around anything in your stash or character loadout right now, make zero transactions at all. AKA just don't try playing right now or accept drops in game, or prepare for disappointment
EDIT: yep, theory is right. In game error, 504 gateway timeout from cloudflare to prod-01.escapefromtarkov.com, API endpoints are slammed and I'd highly recommend not playing or just scav run until this twitch run is over. Just got my first drop, moved to stash, game says failed to lock profile and its gone from stash now but also the Prapor message is saying received, so it's gone already.
TLDR: this is poor infrastructure design and wouldn't surprise me at all if it's a janky mish mash of database tables breaking when servers crash and don't graceful shutdown database R/W operations taking place, nor are there any redundancies in place for state tables, AKA better hope server stays alive during/a little after a raid. That or constant API posts to backend endpoint in real time, but because of heavy load, the API calls are frequently timing out and never confirming that you looted what it shows you looted, therefore it disappears.
It took all BS ammo out of my mags that were equipped on my PMC loadout, like its just gone, even the remaining that was in my stash too even though I never did a raid with the loadout, happened overnight. 2 of my relays are gone, some EWRs and other random stuff I think from the last few raids prior.
I have a theory from working in IT and past dev roles, none of your stuff is "officially" yours until the server closes down and commits the loot tables to their backend. But their servers are crashing and likely corrupting the loot tables (items people looted + their loadout going in) that would be committed and confirmed, therefore things you grabbed or brought in are essentially reverted or straight up lost if it's stuck in an unrecoverable state.
Basically a state of loot is confirmed going in, and then going out too, raid timer comes up, loot state integrity is checked and committed to backend. It's likely done this way given the API operations exposed such as backend.escapefromtarkov.com and trading.escapefromtarkov.com (trading site is also how bots hit the APIs exposed and trade flea/fence stuff in mere seconds).
ID: hqfj2p6Pretty sure they use mongodb on the backend; I would be unsurprised if they have some ReplicaSets that are lagging behind on updates and/or have lost the ability to catch up on their OpLog so they can never return to consistency without manual intervention. Webscale indeed.
ID: hqfjsstMongodb is suuuuuuuper shitty about non graceful shutdowns also, even the most basic configs will corrupt if not dealt with properly. It's dead simple to implement but it lacks a lot of redundancies and failsafes that are more resilient to failure.

This is getting beyond a joke now. Since day one of the wipe the servers have been dog shit from 16:00 UTC every day. Now with this Twitch event they’re even worse.
Sort it out BSG. We’ve paid for a service we aren’t able to fully utilise.

ID: hqfcdkfIt was never this bad. We had rare instances of items disappearing. We had a lot of moving errors. But never thing went that bad. Just got a bunch of items i sold back and closed the game. This is beyond just bad.

You'd think after how many problems they've had with servers and drop events, they'd figure it out by now that they need more/better servers than this. This shouldn't be acceptable at this point in the game's lifespan

Docs case with Ultra medical key is gone
I tried to make a post but of course mods removed it.
I am not the first and most likely not the last player to end up in this situation. Can this please get passed on to Nikita himself sees it and gives it a high priority?
I would also like to know my chances of recovering the lost items. I don’t care about the rest of the loadout. Just the case and the ultra key.

meanwhile you can loot 2 houses and a car in lighthouse for 1-2mil roubles in 10mins...
